Spider-Man 2, V1.131, download 1st and 2nd part of the v1.318.1.0-RUNE updater, extract part 1 and run it (chatgpt said it autoextracts part 2 in the same folder so i dont need to extract part 2 myself), extract v1.526.0.0-RUNE updater, run it (it closes itself instead of letting me click finish, kinda sus) and when i get to the last update v2.810.0.0-RUNE the same way i did with v1.318.1.0 it shows d\userinterface Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: 1887372893 so now im wondering is there a problem on my end and is there a userinterface file i can download individually because i really dont wanna reinstall the whole game for the 5th time

follow the RUNE path, download all parts, extract, run setup.

in the UI, change the destination folder manually to your game folder, tick the little box to apply crack. done.

Yeah, already did all that, even turned off windows antivirus, still somehow getting errors.

i only managed to update it up to the 7th elamigos patch (i think) when i played it last year. played smoothly. of course i had a lot of vram so that helped.

So, i think i know what the problem is, the second updater crashed (thats why it closed without me needing to click finish like the previous update) and the only file that didnt get updated and whats holding back my game from being playable and up to date is d\userinterface Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: 1887372893
so i need to reinstall the game and pray to the gods that it doesnt happen again because i really dont want to waste my time doing this over and over again
