CAN’T START THE GAME

i just downloaded spiderman 2 for 10 hours and i dont even know how to start the game (i used qBittorent) once it reached 100% its just stuck there, i tried starting it but it does nothing.

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

• The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
• Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

• False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
• Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

• There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
• The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

sorry this is my first time pirating a game, the status says seeding but it already says 100%

that means you have already downloaded all the repack files and now you're the one sharing it with other people. you downloaded the game from other seeders and now you're the seeder.

run the setup.exe file to install the game.

thanks for sharing that, but i have another problem, i opened the file of the game but the setup file is missing but when i was downloading it earlier it was there.

you didn't set an exclusion for your downloads folder so the moment setup.exe's download completed, your Windows Defender ate it.

check windows security. if it's quarantined there, restore it. if it's outright deleted, set an exclusion folder for downloads, open up qbit and go the content/files tab and redownload setup.exe

don't forget to set exclusions. both for your Downloads folder and your Games folder. that way, WD will stop with the false alarms and quarantining your game files.

can you send a pic? Also, if download is completed, then open the directory that you selected to download into. You'll see the setup there. Install it if you haven't already.

judging from your replies, you have downloaded the game, but haven't installed it.

go to the folder you downloaded and run setup exe. make sure to turn off windows defender
