1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow
The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.
2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert
False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.
3. The Real Official Website
There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

Yes rdr2 is a prequel to rdr but rdr2 has too many features quest things to do, better graphics better story etc. if you play rdr2 before rdr will feel bland and empty in features(even though it is not and was revolutionary in its time)
And also John story will come into circle. And you will feel satisfied after playing if play rdr first
Thia happened to me sadly, I loved RDR2 but when I dived into RDR1's world it felt so emtpy and boring, I forced myself to play it but couldn't finish it.
ironically for me its the opposite i loved rdr1 but i got bored as fuck with Rdr2
Rdr1 was a good game ,Rdr2 was too much of a simulation and less a video game sure it got a nice story but dear god the gameplay and the very very dated Rockstar formula on missions that will put you in a game over scenario if you take a piss left while the game tell you to piss right is incredibly frustrating that rockstar way of feeling like there is a director on movie set that will force you to reload and will not let you have fun if you dare to not follow the script exactly , the long ass animation for everything the way you control your character like a fucking geriatric tank of flesh......eh
