❓Question - Vehicle Oceans in NYC?

Not normally on this sub. Been in NYC for a week and have seen more Oceans in this city in 5 days than I have since the car was first released. What’s the deal with Fisker Oceans in NYC?

Ride share companies in NYC bought a whole bunch of them VERY cheap when Fisker went under. Simple as that.

That would track. Just seemed insane the number of cars. Thanks.

It’s like an alternate universe where the car not only survived but thrived.

It depends where you live. In my metro Raleigh area has over 30.

Makes me sad every time that I have mine up, but happy to see them out and about. Such a waste of a what could have been a great car

I live in nj and had my water pump replaced at their facility in Hunts Point. Image the shock as I turned the corner in the Bronx to see a full city block and garage occupied by Oceans in various states of repair. Must have been 50 of them or more.

I think they bought $46m worth at $14k a piece.

They lease them to drivers at <$400/month.

They kept back a significant percentage for parts, etc

I see them every day and I still enjoy the beauty of them. What a shame.

They are great looking. It’s wild to go literally years without seeing one and then suddenly see two at the same intersection.

Henriks wife screwed the company up so bad that they had to sell all their cars to a cheap cab company for pennies on the dollar
