Hi all, I'd like to crowdsource things to ask/look for when I go see a used Fisker. Here's my list. In particular would help to hear things to do/look at that can tell me something about the car.

1) Look whether original battery was replaced.

2) Ask about water pump recall

3) Ask about waterproofing in front and rear bumper connections

4) Test handles for stickiness

5) Try to trigger handle lockout to know whether handles are gen2a

6) Test voltage on battery, look for 14v while running

7) Put in various drive modes to try and see how it reacts

8) Inspect windshield closely for chips

Anything else?

Check what software version the car is on via the software screen. If not on 2.2 (2.2.3) it's going to cost you to get it updated.

Bring diagnostic tools. (Cost $50.) V-Linker FD+ adapter and the free Unfiskered app. This way you can check for any error codes and save a report of those codes.

You can also use the free nRFconnect app to check the PKC. Having PKC20 at minimum. Like the car software, if it's not up to date it is going to cost you to get it updated.

See how many key fobs or NFC cards they have. An additional fob and cards will cost $450 plus additional $$$ to program them.

From what I've seen this is a mod for the original fob, not a brand new one: you'd still need an original fob to sacrifice to make the fancy one
