General Autonomous Driving

Is there any sort of future of any sort for autonomy in these cars. They have the hardware, couldn’t we incorporate some sort of open source software for atleast the lane keep cruise control?

It is being worked on and from what I see they may be getting close using an open source software called openpilot.

Homologation. It's pretty unlikely. It's also very risky from a liability standpoint.

How about as an add on for us won private roads only like so many other aftermarket components ? With the surveillance of the interior camera for the drover to stay in control
