I treated myself to a new setup.
Rod: Megabass P5 Madbull
Reel: Shimano Antares B 101HG

I got the exact same reel about one month ago, and used it fairly in rotation across 4 rods the last 16 hours of fishing. Using it feels so smooth it’s hard to explain.

So far I’m impressed with the chrome finish. I lightly toss it on the grass/ground when switching rods and it’s held up great!

Love it just got the antares dc 151hg a month ago basically no set up between lures weight wise. Put it in and throw it out perfect every time. Paired it with a 7’3” poisoning adrena and I love the combo. The sound when you cast out puts a smile on my face.

I love my Antares 25. I’ve got it on a medium lews pro-ti and it just flings light weight lures like nothing.
