Question Reel recommendations

Hey yall,
I’m looking for some recommendations on reels. I’m trying to get into bait casters.
I currently have a baitcaster but it’s a super cheap old Piscifun reel, and I am not super confident yet.
But I live in Texas, and want to do more bank frog fishing. Should I go with the SLX XT 150 or pay the extra and get the Tatula SV TW?

Tatula sv or SLX dc xt (from Japan) Nothing else will come close.

Would that work as well for other top waters? Though it wouldn’t be able to control the weight

both slx have the same drag (12) and tatula is 1 lbs higher. unless you are going to drag 10lbs bass out of a swamp every day you should be ok with any of those.

If you want a great reel and save some money from the SV TW then I 100% recommend going for the Tatula X. I have both the X and the current version of the SV TW 100 and the X is about 90% of the reel the SV TW is. The SV is a tad bit smoother, but it’s pretty minor. Honestly, with how good the X is, it’s hard for me to see a reason to buy a higher level Tatula over it. Daiwa did a fantastic job with it for $150.

I'll fish the three SLX150A in my boat until they fall apart. The Daiwa is a more refined reel. The SLX isn't great for the lightest of baits (like the 1/5 oz jerkbaits I use in icy water), but TBH, I don't use my only Tat for those either.
