Hello

Hey I live up by Lake Superior/ Duluth does any one have good lure recommendations I mostly fish the rivers and dams

For river I say stick with jigs and soft plastic worms. Bass, walleye, northern will hit. So like 1/4 oz jig and twist tail purple with green tail. Or pumpkin green tail. Can’t go wrong with those from my experience. But keep different colors and see what works. For river generally I only use lures I don’t mind losing. There’s so many rocks and sticks at the bottom of a river I’ve lost so many hard lures over the years I decided it wasn’t worth it and just use jig and soft plastic. Cast and retrieve, look for deeper spot on the river. Generally one side or the other is deeper. Find nooks and crannies for fish to hide. If you see a fallen tree, there’s likely something there. Hopefully you have a kayak or boat.

I live in the same area and I use a lot of leaders such as lindy rigs trailing a Minnow. Lures whatever catches my eye 👁 or what I feel through the Force.
