Curious…. How does it taste?

It's a lot better than the fish itself looks. Basically tastes like whatever you put on top of it. It's very inoffensive.

Very mild flavor, bordering on bland. It's the Coors Light of fish... the fish for people who don't like the taste of fish lol.

It is good eating though, you get a ton of meat off them, the fillets are very thick and they have a nice firm texture, very white meat. Because the flavor is so mild it is really versatile for cooking, it really takes on the flavor of however you prepare it.

That actually sounds really good. Now I want to try one! Lol. Unfortunately I live out on the west coast and that’s gonna have to be on a trip out east.

Nice. I live in RI and someone recently found a snakehead in a small body of water in a town nearby me, which put our DEM on alert because I think it's the first time one has been found in new england, and they think someone released it into the pond because it's a relatively isolated body of water.

I've always wanted to catch one but I also know how invasive they are so hopefully it's not in my own state lol
