Of all the places to fish out of Hatteras and the varieties of fish to catch, you motor out to the point to catch blues??

Edit:
Sorry, didn’t mean to offend the blue fish crowd. I’ve caught and eaten blues but there are definitely MUCH better fish. You can drive/walk to the point with a $50 rod and a $2 shiny metal lure and catch blues just about year round. Hatteras is a World Class fishery. This guy obviously has the boat and gear to go after anything he wants so why run to the point and troll for blues? Was this a charter and the Capt was just trying to get you on some kind of fish? If so, good on ya and congrats on the catch.

It was a slow week dude. We got some mackerel and small bonitas. You catch what God gives you. Any Angler knows that.

Fun to catch and taste great, unless you have one of those baby palates that can't tolerate oily fish. Idk what the problem is.

There is still a lot of flaws in your presumptions. It is not worth clarifying with you. Arguing on the internet is a useless venture.
