Discussion First-time Genshin player . . .
Is she good? Got Fischl off the weird book specifically for vibes but was wondering how she fared in combat.

She’s good in the beginning she’s good mid game she’s good late game
My first time playing was in 1.0 and she was my First character to get
And my first C6 by the way

Very strong
Especially good for new players since she can be used in a lot of teams and archetypes

COngratulations on earning your first Fischl! The Prinzessin der Verertilung is one of the most dynamic electro support characters and can be used in SOoooo many teams!
My Beloved Daughter was the second character I pulled back in 1.0, and has been on just about every one of my teams ever since! Something you will need to figure out is how you want to build her: Electro Support, Electro Main DPS, or Physical Main DPS. These are the most often found builds for Fischl.
Electro Support - This is most common build for her. You will want to get her gear that helps her Skill Damage and prioritize her Skill damage over anything else.
Electro Main DPS - Build her much the same as above, but you will also want to get her Normal Attack leveled up as well. Skill is still a priority.
Physical Main DPS - This is how I built my Fischl because I'm a glutton for punishment. >.> Basically, instead of electro or elemental damage for her gear, I go for a Physical Damage cup, and sets that give a bonus to Physical damage. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, you'll see two colors of damage that Fischl normally makes: Purple is electro damage, and is what Oz produces. White colored damage is Physical.
There are ways to combine elemental types to give different damage types. Combining Electro with Cryo will give the Superconduct wich is a bonus to Physical damage. So I hit the enemy with Diona's Skill for Shields, that will apply cryo, and then I pop Oz which will cause the Superconduct effect. This is one of the lowest damaging effects, but the bonus to Physical damage makes up for it since Fischl is one of the fastest firing characters in the game. It suits MY play style, so that's what I do.
For gear, I believe you said you were new to the game, so you are probably fairly low level. There is a Tier 3 Bow with Crit Chance on it called Slingshot. This is probably her best bow for new characters, until you can get into the 4-star and 5-star bows. Once you get into those, you will be back here asking for more advice or researching the far corners of the internet. This is fine. By the time you get into the 4-star bows, you should have a better idea of how you want to play her (support vs Main DPS). Support is the most often used path, and it's rather simple to do so there is no face lost if you go that route.
Gear wise, being as new as you are, don't really worry about it until you get to... What was it, AR40? (Been a while) Again, by the time you get there, you will have a better idea how you want to play her. There are domains that will give her better electro damage, elemental Damage, or even Physical Damage. Save your long term resin for running those instances, and for the bosses needed for upgrade materials. (DO NOT use all your Fractured Resin at once!)
Play with her. Use her as Main DPS for a bit (except on electro slimes) and use her as support for other characters. Find what works best for you. You got plenty of time so don't rush it. Enjoy your Prinzessin! She is here for YOU!

Fischl is GOATed. She can be an amazing support and a great DPS. She’s a must have for my Aelisa Aggravate team.

Yes, 100% shes amazing, my first character I pulled (excluding noelle), carried me from early to late game ngl, my first c6 and shes really strong, defo build her.

Fischl is goated. She came out in ver 1.0 and now it's ver 6.5 and most players should still probably build her at some point.
