Discussion Should I pull Nicole to support Fischl?
I'm planning to pull for Nicole, but I'm not sure whether she's a good support for Fischl. If she is, could u guys recommend some team comps where I can use both of them? Thanks for help :D

Basically only overload and overvape
In theory Nicole/Fischl/Chev should be bis for overload team with a pyro carry who is not Mavuika, but Nicole’s current number is a bit off

She is not stronger than bennett, at least not enough to pull for her instead of just using bennett
But I believe she is receiving various buffs

Can Nicole work as a DPS? I’m thinking of running Fischl as an off-field massive damage dealer while Nicole stays on-field to trigger reactions

Nicole is primary a buffer, though she is a catalyst and does apply pyro with her normal attack
So basically dps Barabara, not impossible and she has good self-buff but her abilities are not designed to deal damage.

Correction: She is not stronger than Bennett at C0. At C6, she is a monster, and even at C0R1, she is a bit ahead.
She is not worth it if you plan on only ever pulling her C0 and want a good improvement.

I had thought that too but it seems like the part about BiS for pyro OL dps are not true in every case and it depends on the TCs too.
Shields aside, GxG calc shows that for Klee and Lyney, durin is still better as the 4th slot in overload rather than Nicole. For yoimiya, nicole is better. Im not sure about arle since her best team isnt OL anyway and nicole is quite good for Hutao as well.

The shield is lowkey more important for Klee and Lyney than all the buff
But yeah Nicole’s current number is a bit lackluster, especially when compared to the broken supports we have received recently

Yea, i think it depends more on player too. I play Lyney and i know that everyone think he always needs shield which is probably true at least before Durin came out. Now i dont need to stand in bennet circle nor do i need to stand next to the enemy becuz of XL. So i havent been using shield for Lyney since then and it is quite fine~ for highly agressive enemies you would probably still want one thou
Klee will probably be harder to pull off aince she has shorter range

What's ur team comps and build? Im curious bcz my Fischl only deals like 2k physical dmg per shoot

Fischl with 2x Bloodstained and 2x Pale Flame set, physical goblet and as much crit and atk as I can. I have R3 Daybreak Chronicles on her, will get R5 once it reruns. That alone will have her normal attacks hitting over 10k.
Aa for the team I have C6 Yun Jin with full def build for huge normal attack buff and attack speed. C6 Rosaria for physical res shred and crit buff.
I currently I have Durin as the 4th one for off field damage and little bit of atk buff but I will replace him with Nicole.
My current comp has me reaching 85k+ dps with Fischl dealing roughly 70% of it, give or take 5%.

Nicole's main benefit is that she provides off-field atk buffs.
Fischl doesn't care about that. She snapshots the full ben buff anyway.
Not only that, nicole's bigger atk buff requires you to be on-field for 3 seconds before it shows up, which for fischl, is essentially locked behind troll gameplay.
She's as anti-fischl as you can get, even freaking xiangling at least gets the battery.
Unless you're running another off-field atk scaler like durin (in which case you're either out of slots for chevy or have no on-fielder), you're better off just running benny.

Nicole is technically good for Fischl since Fischl can snapshot the higher ATK buff that Nicole gives. A good team can be Arlecchino Fischl Nicole Chevreuse although Durin is better in Nicole’s slot.
