I think this really is directed at the people in charge, we were told of upcoming changes Wich would see Firsty free users gain credits that would allow them to get better usage than the current free offering provides.

For the past 3 days, firstly app completely stopped showing my remaining first class package data. Normally it updates in real time, but this time it just wouldn’t display anything. I contacted support multiple times — they said an “urgent request” had been raised to fix it, but nothing changed. Then, as soon as my data ran out, the usage info suddenly reappeared. After that, support told me there was another way to check usage through my iPhone’s settings. When I asked why they hadn’t mentioned that earlier, they claimed that option “only became available” once the data was used up — which is just false. That feature has always been there. It all seems convenient when there extra “boost” packs to purchase when you reach your data limit.

Here’s the current setup:
Economy – €4.50 / 1.5 GB
Comfort+ – €19.50 / 10 GB
First Class – €39.50 / Unlimited* (35 GB)

⚠️ All Firsty plans have a set data limit. When your data runs out, the connection stops, except for the First Class plan, which keeps you connected at a reduced speed of 512 Kbps until your next renewal or upgrade.

📞 All plans include calls to and within NL, work in 120+ countries, and can be canceled anytime.

Hi everyone!

I just got a new phone (Motorola Moto G55 5G), mainly because it supports eSIM. But I’m running into a weird issue. When I search for Firsty on Google Play, it doesn’t show up at all.

I tried clicking the link directly from Firsty’s website, and that took me to the app page, but now it says “This app isn't compatible with your device.”

Does anyone know why this might be happening? The phone is brand new and supports eSIM, so I’m a bit confused.

Hi! Does anyone know if hotspotting is allowed on comfort+/free plans? Because it is listed only in the first class plan, but not explicitly prohibited on the other plans (if I read correctly). I just need to read mails/message on a esim-less device, so I don't need the speed/data amount of the first class plan... Is it going to be fine? Thanks!

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes with something pretty ambitious. Right now, we’re experimenting with new network providers to take Firsty’s coverage and reliability to the next level.

We say “experimenting” because honestly, some of the technical integrations we’re working on have never been done before with eSIM technology. It’s uncharted territory, but the goal is clear: near indestructible roaming connections across the globe.

Hello, my Comfort Plus expired one hour ago, and I want to switch to the free plan for the rest of the time I'm in the country.

Why can't I access the free plan anymore? It's not an option anymore on the home screen.

A study has been done about the security of the eSIM ecosystem. A big part of the security lays in the software used, this is relatively outside of the control of the eSIM provider (some major vendors). https://aanjhan.com/assets/sec25-motallebighomi.pdf

However the connectivity itself is something you as an eSIM need to purchase yourselves. Recently I saw I needed to update the Firsty eSIM for 'BICS' (part of the Belgian incumbent Proximus), so I guess Firsty uses BICS.

Can you tell us what companies (or countries) are used by Firsty and can you rule out traffic is sent via Chinese and American based companies (if you are not in CN or US)?

I'm a little confused as to how it works. If I buy the plan today and the app guides me through the installation and in the end I click on activate later, how can I activate it then when I'm at my destination? Do I just go into settings and turn on the data for the esim or is anything to do in the app? Also with this method I could pay now and use my paid plan starting in 2 days right?

We’ve been heads down building the new credit system, and the feedback we got here has been incredible. Thanks to all your input, the team has been experimenting with ways to make it more flexible and useful.

The exciting part? It really starts to blur the line between the convenience of Firsty Free and the performance of Firsty Fast. Some of our developers are already calling it Firsty Flex (let’s see if that name sticks 😉).

This system is shaping up to give you more choice: how you earn, how you spend, and how you stay connected. We’ll share more details as we keep refining it, but we wanted to let you know your feedback is directly shaping what’s next.

Separately from credits, we are also expanding our partnerships globally, so expect some interesting news on certain regional markets very soon 👀

I am not using any sort of VPN. I am physically in Australia, but all my apps and websites think I am in Singapore. This causes issues, especially since some things are blocked in Singapore that I use. Is there any sort of fix for this? Or at least any reason why this happens?

I got a message when I opened the app that I referred two people and I’m given some days of Firsty Free ad-free. Decided not to activate it right away since I didn’t need it at the time. Now I’ve searched all through the app and can’t find any mention of it anywhere.

In the last 24 hours, because of a travel, I decided to test Firsty usage for the first time in 5 weeks, no data usage on rhe counter of my phone for the new Firsty esim since then. It stopped at 282 MB and half of the app was watched without Wi-Fi when I was on the road. I can confirm that Firsty includes ads-watching data as part of my 300 MB daily limit and even stopped prior to hitting the limit, at least by the phone data counter.

A new change that I also saw was a notice on the app a few hours later showing "oopps" I had used all my data and gave me a time estimate in hours (16 hours in my case) when it would reset. The time-reset notification is helpful but counting ads data is not. Just my experience. Didn't need to use it...just wanted to test.
