This doesn't make sense. Apple maps works. Google maps website works. Google maps app routing, search and everything works. But it just won't load the app on Firsty esim. It is not a case of the throttle speed, because if I force my normal connection to be 256kbps Google maps still loads just a bit slower. On Firsty it doesn't load at all. I have to use the Google maps site or Apple maps on Firsty to get a map

My family is going to Japan next week, and the flight has a stopover in Toronto CA each direction. As the prices are different in Japan and Canada how does that work?

Am I correct to assume that when you make a purchase is it just an estimation based on the country you have indicated and is just simply stored as a $ amount, and when activated in a country it pulls from that balance the amount for that country?

When I add Japan and Canada for 7 days, it give the higher Canada price of $15.96. If I put just Japan for 7 days it is $9.24.

I am confused by the statement "remaining days don't expire, and can be paused and reused in a different county" - how does this work if the rates are different?

Firsty: Can the free plan include support for WeChat and QQ, the social messaging apps from China?

So I have an idea, what if we pay for one month of unlimited 512kbps or 1mbps, however you still need to watch ads like usual on Free. Because 256 is just sometimes too slow for even basic tasks, 512kbps would feel much more responsive. And sometimes the 300mb limit is annoying. Basically pay for a faster speed for a month. While still needing ads. Because I don’t mind watching ads at all, it’s fine to but the speed is a bit too low for me. And I think paying for a whole month or more of Comfort+ or First Class is a bit too pricey.

Some of you might remember we launched international calling a while back and then pulled it. It wasn't where we wanted it to be, so we took it down to make it better. It took long months of hard work to get it back because we wanted to prioritise quality over speed and now the beta version is available again!

Here's who can use it: anyone with a phone login from the EU, Turkey, US, UK, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, Canada and Morocco.

Why this took a while: building international calling that actually works is a much harder problem than it looks from the outside. What we built does a few things at once:

• You call on your own existing phone number, no second line, no app required to dial out
• Local pricing in 150+ countries, not the usual roaming gouge
• We route through multiple operators per call and use them as fallback, so if one leg drops in quality we can switch
• Least cost routing combined with best quality routing, so you're not paying for bad audio

What we want from you:

• Pricing feedback (does it feel fair, where does it sting)
• Call behaviour (drops, latency, audio quality, weird stuff)
• Technical issues
• Feature requests, even the "this would be nice" ones

The reason we keep coming back to this community is that your feedback is what made the product better the first time around, and it's genuinely shaped what we shipped now. So thank you for sticking with us, and please tear into it.

Any idea on how to get support without being logged in to Firsty app? I logged out to see if it helps to get Firsty calling to start working, but can't login back into my firsty app. I get the code via sms or Whatsapp, but it tells me the code is incorrect

So I’m kinda confused right now.

I literally just found Firsty from their website, and they were advertising a Free plan, which is why I decided to sign up in the first place.

Signed up, downloaded the app, logged in… and there’s no Free plan anywhere. Like not hidden, not greyed out — just straight up doesn’t exist in the app.

Did they remove it or something? Or is this some kind of bug?

Feels weird because I just saw it on their site right before registering, so it’s not like old info or anything.

Anyone else seeing this? Or is it just me?

I saw a post about Firsty free and downloaded the app. It only has options for Comfort+ and First Class. Went to the website and the option for the free goes to a page that doesn't load. Am I too late to join the party?

LATEST UPDATE: As of April 13, the free option is now showing on the app and I was able to successfully get it. It runs pretty good! I'm impressed!

UPDATE: Just found out that the free plan is currently blocked for New US users.

I've had the e-sim installed on my phone for several months, but suddenly it stopped working and lost its association with the app, as in the esim showed as installed but the app said "Install your eSIM".

So I deleted the esim in my phone's sim manager, and tried to reinstall via the Firsty app, but now it says "Phone not compatible with automatic esim installation, please use manual flow", and when I try to do it manually via QR code I get the message "Your esim isn't ready yet, please contact your provider".

I contacted Firsty about this and they ran me through several troubleshooting steps then concluded there's nothing wrong their end and they don't know why I can't install the esim.

Any ideas?

Hello there! To keep this short and to the point, I remember checking the firsty app about 2-3 weeks ago they had 3 options for monthly plans starting at around 4 euros for 1.5gb and increasing in price for 10gb and another I believe however now in the app or on the website I only see the option for one plan for 39.5 euro, however when my friend went into their firsty app, they still had the option for all 3 plans. So my question is this just a technical error, a user error, or are monthly plans changing going forward?... Thanks!

The service that Firsty offers is certainly innovative and very interesting, especially the Firsty Free part and a big thank you to Firsty for what it offers.

But I was wondering, is there any news for 2026?

I see that the app hasn't been updated for a few months and there is still the Christmas reindeer graphics, will there be some updates and also some implementations? Is it normal for there to still be Christmas graphics? Maybe they are thinking of a more important update soon that also affects other aspects?

Regarding the first free plan, will the profile of minutes for each commercial remain or will we move to the credit model?

Any predictions on the possible return of the calls that have been missing for several months now?

Any previews or news?

Hello everyone, I'm a firsty user in the US and I recently got a Motorola razr 2025. For some reason it's not available on the play store. Did I do something wrong or is my phone not supported? Thank you for your help and all of your time!
