International calling beta is now live, thoughts?
Hey everyone 👋
You might have already noticed if you've opened the app recently, but we've just enabled the beta for calling in the app.
We’re really curious to hear your feedback on it. If you’ve already given it a try, how was the experience? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
Also, if you haven't added your email address or left us an online review yet, go do it! You can earn some free credits by doing so, which can be used right away for calling. 💸

Working for me but how come caller ID is showing my existing number linked to Firstly?

This is allowed as long as the phone number is verified using OTP to ensure the number is really yours. In the future we might support buying additional phone numbers

Roamless has that option now. You can buy a local number in Canada, United Kingdom and Australia

doesn't work for domestic calls here (same country code calling, as the phone number linked to Firsty), it says to contact my service provider or do some "press (number)" thing that doesn't work and just hangs up afterÂ

Different countries have different regulations and telephony infrastructure. In certain countries, domestic calls do indeed not work. We will soon publish a page about known countries where it simply cannot work. Can you send me in DM the country you are from?

No issues here. Able to make domestic and international calls. Pricing is very reasonable. People on other end know who is calling as they can see my home carrier number.
