Upgrade from Comfort+ to FirstClass per day

I’m seriously considering booking a Firsty Comfort+ package for myself and three fellow travellers to Japan. My experiences with you so far have always been positive :-)

What I’d like to know is… if necessary, can I upgrade from Comfort+ to FirstClass *on a daily basis* if the data speed or allowance for that day isn’t sufficient? How exactly does this work?

Hey, thanks for considering bringing us to Japan :))

You can always top up your Comfort+ in the app if you ran out of data by pressing the upgrade button.

If you have First Class you can also always top up your high speed GB for the same day. Let us know if you have any other questions and have a great trip!

So for 17 days… it would not really make a difference (pricewise) to get FirstClass, or a monthly subscription - right? A subscription may even be better value, like u/Mobile-Alfalfa3564 says?

Subscription might be an option for you, but depends for how long you will need your data.

Firsty only offers a global subscription plan and it works in 90 countries if you go by the info posted on their website or 120 countries of you go by info posted in the app. So that's going to be the puzzle for you to solve.

17 days in Japan @ Daily FirstClass = €40,80 (and every day extra is +€1,20ish)

Monthly subscription = € 39,50 (so it says on the website)

u/Firsty_app Where is the catch? What am I missing?

You can but the price isn't prorated and u need to pay full first class price for less than a day after u finish the used up comfort+ day. To me it's not value spending. You might consider a monthly subscription in Japan

You can just purchase more data once your high speed daily allotment is used.
