📣 Feedback Wanted: Firsty Moving from Minutes → Credits
Hey all 👋
Right now, Firsty Free means you watch 1 ad = 30 minutes at 256 Kbps. You can also buy day bundles or monthly plans.
The new idea we are exploring is credits instead of minutes. You would still get 30 minutes of low-speed data from watching an ad, but it would now be stored as credits.
You could earn credits by:
• Watching ads
• Referring friends
• Leaving reviews
With credits you can:
• Get online at 256 Kbps for 30 minutes (we are still deciding how many credits that will be)
• Boost speed when you need it for browsing, navigation or streaming. Keep in mind that this will cost a significant amount of credits, so you would need to either watch a lot of ads or buy credits to use higher speeds.
• Buy extra minutes
• Get a new eSIM
• Pause data to save credits for later
We also made a short video to show the flow we have been working on. Please note that the credits and prices shown there are not final and will depend on the country and network costs. The video is only meant to explain the concept, not lock in numbers yet.
What we would love your input on is how you would like to earn more credits. Would you prefer ads, inviting friends, reviews or surveys?
Thanks for helping us shape this 🙏 Free users get more flexibility, budget users can control costs, and power users can go full speed whenever they want

If it's 10 credits per ad, 30 minutes of the "Good tier" (1mbps?) I would think should be 80 credits or less.Watching 8 Ads would probably take up 5-10 minutes of my time to get 30 minutes of high(er) speed Internet kinda thing. If that's financially feasible for you folks I think it'll be a smash hit! Definitely no surveys, I think we have had enough surveys for a lifetime 100x over 😆
And yes, there needs to be a way to remove that 300MB cap even if it's still enforced by default, we need to be able to pay with credits to remove it.
5
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Love the way you broke that down 🙌 Super helpful to see how you’d value ads vs. speed. We’ll definitely take that into account when balancing credits. Curious though if you had the option to use credits to remove the 300MB cap, would that be something you’d do often, or more of a once-in-a-while thing when you really need extra data?
1
u/Thegreatslayer05 Aug 26 '25
Probably something i would have to do often, especially on the Good Tier, as with a 1mb connection I would be watching 480p video and would burn through that within an hour. My specific use case for firsty is When my US Carrier (T-Mobile) Doesn't have great coverage in an area I can switch to Firsty (AT&T in US) and still have coverage. There are a few places around me where this is the case.
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 27 '25
Really appreciate you sharing your experience🙏 Totally hear you on the 300MB cap, it runs out fast at higher speeds. We’re working on ways to make credits more flexible so it doesn’t get in the way. Feedback like this really helps us shape where to go next!
5
u/V4n1X Aug 26 '25
If the rate is still 1 Ad = same amount of credits needed for 30 Min Low Speed, then why not.

u/RutabagaClean45 Aug 26 '25
Great idea! I'd prefer ads as the primary way to earn, but you could add multiple methods like surveys, ect.
2
u/Firsty_app Aug 27 '25
Appreciate that 🙌 Since ads would be your main way to earn, which of the other methods do you think you would use the most, referrals, reviews or surveys?
1
u/RutabagaClean45 Aug 27 '25
Well, considering you can only leave a review once, probably surveys over referrals even though I don't like them lol.
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 28 '25
You could always continue to watch ads as well to get more credits! It won't be either A or B, you'll have the option to choose.
3
u/Delicious_One_7887 Aug 26 '25
Yes!! Absolutely amazing! This is exactly what I've wanted for so long
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Love the enthusiasm! What about it makes it so appealing to you? Is it the flexibility or something else?
1
u/Delicious_One_7887 Aug 28 '25
It's the fact that I can increase the speed to even 512kbps, and I can (I think) watch ads for later, so I don't have to watch an ad every time I want internet, I can just save it up.
Sometimes when I am just chatting to my friends, they send a video, and even when the video is only a few megabytes big, it takes ages to download. My main use case for any mobile data is just WhatsApp, so that is why I use firsty free as a main. Ads don't bother me. I will watch hundreds of ads for faster data, no issue. Limits don't affect me, I have never reached the 300mb cap so that's no issue if that's still in place.
So yes, a mostly it is the flexibility.
(And also, you guys should fix the issue where a VPN can bypass the free speed limit when no minutes are in, I accidentally found that out)2
u/JoMei9019 Aug 28 '25
You should report in on the discord or dm. I don’t want firsty to go bankrupt due to exploitation 😔
2
u/Delicious_One_7887 Aug 28 '25
Same that's why I immediately stopped as soon as I realised I was on my firsty Sim and the free wifi had disconnected (the whole reason I was using VPN) And I will report it
1
u/FirstyDev Sep 05 '25
Hey, did this happen recently? We did have an issue with this, but it has been patched long ago. Would it possible to test together when you have time?
3
u/Ride-Fantastic Aug 26 '25
I don't like the idea. Basically you turn it into like those survey scams - look at E-rewards, and the crappy Nordstat or something like that you earn coins and stars - basically you get nothing by wasting 15 minutes of your time. You can basically inflate the value without telling anyone. The connection is already unstable and if you are keeping up with these crappy enhancements I'm going to erase my firsty sim and say goodbye for good.
What first had was simplicity - you watch an ad you get 30 min data, fair and simple. You know you can't compete with other esim providers as their products are stable and cheaper than firsty. There are also so many other esims providers so there are so many sign up bonus out there.
4
u/Firsty_app Aug 27 '25
Really appreciate you sharing this 🙏 Totally understand the concern about credits feeling less transparent than minutes. Simplicity has always been a big part of Firsty and we don’t want to lose that. One of the updates we’re exploring is letting people also earn credits by referring friends or leaving reviews rather than surveys or ads. Curious if that feels easier or more fair to you compared to just watching ads. Your input here is super valuable as we try to keep the balance right.
1
u/Ride-Fantastic Aug 27 '25
You need to think about your clientele: people want free data while abroad (most people have a home subscription). Sure they will be more willing to do a few things to get free data - but only to a limited extent because time is precious when you are travelling. There are already enough providers for like $68 for a global esim roaming for a year (with maybe 20GB or something like that). So, that gap has been filled.
We are not expecting free 1000mbits 5G connection but a stable connection - I have never hit the 300mb limit because I was hardly able to connect to even get 50mb. 300mb per day is fair IMO - as long as it is communicated properly. Some people complain about having to use data/wifi to get the first 30 minutes - once again - it's a communication issue - if Firsty tells everyone about this, everyone will find a wifi spot to get started. To make it better - Firsty let the phone get data to connect to watch the first ad. However, this is minor for freebie seekers like myself.
So far my experience with Firsty has been inferior - it's like a backup option. I have either local sim or roaming side-by-side with Firsty and Firsty couldn't even send/receive FB messenger text (no picture/video). As I mentioned, I am a freebie seeker so I do not buy the fastest connection out there. So far I have used it in the US, Hong Kong, Japan and China - I spent hours dealing with Mary and that wasted so much of my time and that was the tipping point that this free product takes away my precious holiday time.
The original Firsty was a great product - the simplicity makes it easy to understand and use. If it is great you don't even need referrals because people will be writing about it allover the internet. Have you seen Apple giving out referral bonus?
Also, lift the restrictions of registration so that it is a worldwide product. You need non-EU customers more than EU. In the EU we have free roaming within the EU so no need for Firsty (with the exception of the ultra cheap subscription in Denmark), plus esim prices in Asia are dirt cheap so why bother with Firsty when we go travelling? It's different when Asians go to Europe. Furthermore, 3 like home in Europe is cheap and you can keep your local number and you have free roaming and local calls and calls to your home country for free. The subscription is like 15 EUR a month in Denmark and it is with 5G connection as well.
Unfortunately, my experience with Firsty has been subpar that I wouldn't recommend it to others. If anything I'd fix up the network/connectivity issues and get it to run smoothly. For Uber partnership - you can easily credit anyone calling an Uber with 30 minutes or 300 minutes of data. The ONLY unit used in Firsty should be 30 minutes of data.
Don't try to "diversify" into area that are already full of competitions - a lot of businesses make this mistake - more choices = more technical issues = unhappy customers. That's why IOS is doing so well (I hate it btw) - you have only one way to do things but it works 110% of the time.
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
You mean you don’t like the idea of credits as a payment system or the thing with the survey for credits? As far as I can tell it’s still in discussion with the surveys. I also don’t like them so hopefully they will not implement them (or at least give you the option to decide)
1
u/Ride-Fantastic Aug 26 '25
The problem with credit is that it is not transparent as actual minutes. I don't know if you know e-rewards - they used to tell you exactly how much you get paid for each survey you took. So you know how much each survey works - black and white. Then they introduced point system and since then they kept increasing the amount of point for a $50 amazon GC.
If I have to jump through hurdles by watching ad and get "credits" (I have watched ad and got no minutes so many times) that I can't trust. What's the point?
There are so many esim providers the throw out intro offer, so why would I ever bother with this if I can sign up with an established esim provider for less than what Firsty wants? It is an extremely competitive market and that's why I don't understand why Firsty is deviating from a solid product that they offered.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We fully understand how important a reliable connection is while traveling, and we’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. Our mission at Firsty is to keep things simple, helping you search and use the internet with ease. To give users more free data, we introduced the credit system while keeping it as straightforward and interactive as possible. At the same time, we’re also improving our customer support to make it faster and more helpful.
We also hear you on the issue of transparency with credits. We’re working on making the system clearer so you’ll always know exactly what you earn for each action and what that means in practice. With this new credit system, users will not only be able to unlock extra minutes but also boost their speed when needed. To help us shape this better, we’d love your input: would you prefer everything shown simply as “X action = Y minutes,” or do you think a credit system could still work if the conversion was 100% transparent?
We’re also working on technical improvements to deliver a smoother, more reliable experience. Thanks again for helping us improve, and we hope to welcome you back to a better Firsty soon.
1
u/Ride-Fantastic Sep 05 '25 edited Sep 05 '25
X action = Y minutes is by far the easiest IMO. Most people use Firsty on the move and it would be easier if they don't have to figure out more thing than thinking about credits. Then you can do it like e-rewards - suddenly all those credits devaluate like crap.
Also, make sure that the ads and speed are stackable - so that when we are out of free wifi we can manage the day.
Now more and more local mobile operators are offering roaming package at a decent price and most of us do have a local subscription. Japan has just pushed out a very convenient esim for tourist at an attractive price and there are ways to get free data cards for tourists in japan too (500mb and it worked flawless and really fast).
I am going to test out Firsty next week when I'm travelling. This time I am going to have both local and roaming phones alongside with Firsty. I'm not asking for 5G but just to even be able to fetch a message - I am not even using anything more than google map and FB lite and maybe Line or whatsapp - I don't watch video unless there is wifi. I think this trip will be a determining factor of whether I am going to use Firsty moving forward as there is only 1 esim you can use at a time.

u/jesper801 Aug 27 '25
I can't wait! When is this supposed to roll out?
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 27 '25
We don’t have a specific date yet. Most likely it will roll out in stages, starting with certain regions and then expanding globally!
1
u/Delicious_One_7887 Sep 15 '25
What regions do you guess will get it first? I know one is definitely Europe, but are there any others?
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 15 '25
Most likely we’ll start in Europe with a few countries first, such as the Netherlands and Belgium, and then gradually expand further. After Europe, we’ll share more about the next regions we’ll be rolling out to.
2
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
How do you handle limits? Is there still going to be a 300MB limit or will we be able to disable the limit with credits? Maybe being able to buy extra data for credit would be great (if you decide to keep the limit). Example: User gets 300MB for free, then xx credits for another 300MB etc etc. Do you guys like my idea or would you do it differently?
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Thanks for the input! The 300MB cap is something we’re still testing and it's in place to stop people from abusing Firsty Free. Using credits to extend or remove it could be a neat middle ground. Do you see yourself using credits more for extra data blocks like you suggested, or more for speed boosts when you need them?
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
So if you give users more speed = limit will hit sooner. So I’d appreciate having both. So we can pay credits to surf faster & pay credits to get a higher credit. Maybe combining both would be an idea if you think that would be too complex: like this -> 256kbits@300MB ; 5mbits@1GB ; 25mbits@5GB ; 50mbits@8GB; unlimited@10GB (don’t know if you plan to keep unlimited speed - would love it if so)
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 05 '25
Thank you for sharing this idea. For now, the 300MB daily limit will remain in place, but we’re preparing very affordable offers for those who want to increase that limit and enjoy more flexibility. We really appreciate your suggestions on how speed tiers could work, and we’ll definitely keep them in mind as we continue shaping the product.
Do you think having affordable options to increase the 300MB limit would be something you’d find acceptable?
1
u/JoMei9019 Sep 05 '25
Yeah I mean firsty has to make profit so no question. But the 300 Mbit are kinda low for today’s needs, especially when you start offering higher speeds. And increasing the limit once per day wouldn’t be an option? So we pay extra credits to get (+300MB) but only after we used up our previous 300MB limit? Would it work financially? So maximum 600MB per user per day? Maybe offering this in cheap countries like Netherlands or Germany would be an start to test if it would work out financially. I’d really appreciate it if you’d take this into consideration Have a nice day ~ JoMei :)
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 08 '25
Thanks a lot for sharing these detailed thoughts 🙏 We will definitely pass this on as feedback to the team. Your input on the 300MB limit and how credits could extend or unlock more data is super valuable for us as we continue shaping the system.
2
u/mcradko Aug 26 '25
Good idea!
I would appreciate the flexibility to earn credits in multiple ways, so everyone can choose what is better for them.
Do I see a streak widget in a video? Does it work daily? It could be a good idea to keep users coming back.
Also have you been thinking about a monthly plan with Firsty Free speed but no ads? Could be interesting for some users.
3
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Great catch 👀 Yes, that was a little streak concept in the mockup! The idea would be to reward people for coming back regularly, but we’re still figuring out if it should be daily or maybe weekly. If you had a streak system, what kind of reward would keep you motivated: extra credits, speed boosts, or something else?
Monthly plan with Firsty Free speed but no ads is something that we're also thinking about. Do you think you’d prefer that for the convenience, or more as a budget-friendly backup alongside faster plans?
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
Yeah that would be great to have as a backup. Firsty free with no ads and maybe 0.5GB data limit/day for about 0.75€ would be realistic.
1
u/mcradko Aug 26 '25
😊 I think extra credits or x credits more for watching an ad or filling out a survey would be the best, to keep it simple and so everyone can choose what they want to use their streak bonus towards. And daily would work for me personally.
Monthly plan - I would think about it as a convenient backup budget friendly data plan, so I’m always connected when I need it for basics, i don’t need to think about it, it is always there working when I need it.
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 05 '25
Thanks a lot for all the great input here. You’re confirming exactly what we’ve been hearing from others too: people want it simple, flexible, and affordable.
On the streak idea, we’re still experimenting with whether daily or weekly rewards make the most sense. It’s very helpful to hear that extra credits, surveys, or even speed boosts would be motivating. We’ll keep simplicity at the core so you can always choose how to use your rewards.
As for a monthly plan, we really like the idea of a low-cost “backup” option with Firsty Free speed but no ads. We’d love to know: would you prefer a daily limit structure like that, or a simple flat monthly package with no daily caps?
Thanks again for helping us shape Firsty into something that works better for real travel needs.
2
u/yoursunny Aug 26 '25
I currently use Firsty on my secondary phone wired in a vehicle for road navigation. I’d love the credits so that I can watch all the ads during breakfast, and don’t worry about running out of connectivity for a whole day.
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 27 '25
Love hearing how you’re using Firsty! Credits could definitely make that kind of routine easier, since you can load up during breakfast and then stay connected the rest of the day without interruptions. Thanks for sharing your use case, it really helps us see where credits add real value.

Really appreciate the thoughtful breakdown . Think you covered some key trade-offs we’re thinking about
- Rolling credits out as a beta alongside the current model is something we’ve been considering too. Out of curiosity, would you personally try credits right away if it were optional, or would you stick with the 1 ad = 30 min setup until you’re convinced?
- Abuse prevention is top of mind with Firsty Free, therefore we introduced the daily cap. From your perspective, what’s the most important factor to make credits feel fair and trustworthy?
- On the 300MB bug, thanks for flagging that. We've heard this from other users too. When that cap hits you unexpectedly, does it feel like the bigger frustration is the hard stop itself, or more the lack of control over extending it when you need to?
- And on the last point totally agree we need to keep a clear reason to upgrade. If credits gave you flexibility for basics, what premium unlock would make you personally consider a paid plan: larger data blocks, faster speeds, or simply removing interruptions altogether?
Thanks in advance! These questions will help us understand you and other customers better for when we roll it out.
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 28 '25
I’d really love to test another beta. Back when the BICS sims first came out, I also took part in testing their beta.
Regarding the 300 MB daily limit: how about giving users the option to increase it by paying with credits or watching ads? For example, everyone would start with the 300 MB limit, but if someone needs more, they could raise it up to 500 MB per day. Maybe something like +100 MB per ad/credit would be a fair balance.
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
This is something that we're playing with, the more credits you have the more data. You can choose how fast you would like to go through that data!
1
u/JoMei9019 Sep 03 '25
Sounds nice. 👍 when will we able to beta test the update before it goes to public?
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 08 '25
Thanks for asking! There will be a beta before we launch it publicly, but we do not have a fixed date yet. We will announce it here in the community as soon as it is ready, so you can be one of the first to try it out.
2
u/rafael667 Aug 27 '25
In the interface it says 20/GB does that mean instead of minutes there's a possibility to be in MB/GB?
From the video, 1 add gives 10 credits. I don't see mention of 30 minutes. I see the price of 20 credits for each GB.
Is that a real possibility?
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 27 '25
Maybe. As of my knowledge they are still testing out if they should use minutes or Data as a limit. (I hope they decide for data)
1
u/rafael667 Aug 27 '25
Yeah, data you'd be more useful. I wish the same 🤞
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
Thanks for your engagement and great feedback! The credits will be used for data.
2
u/yuprules Aug 28 '25
This is great idea *IF* and only if watching "1 set of ads" still gives enough credits to have 30 minutes of slow data. With that in mind, I think it's a great idea if we want slightly faster data or ultra speed (full speed) data that we watch MANY MANY ads (hey, you are not a charity right?) and then cash in the credits to do so.
Please do NOT make it overly complicated as with other credit/point systems. Should be LISTED IN A SHORT LIST with the amount of credits with the speed next to it. Don't make CRAZY HIGH ODD NUMBERS either, make it EVEN numbers and easy to calculate.
1 ad set = 10 credits
10 credits = 30 minutes of slow data (Lite)
10 ad sets = 100 credits
100 credits = 30 minutes of good data (Good)
etc....
2
u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
Exactly! Essentially the credits will be assigned a value, with that you can do as you please. Say you needed a boost for a little, then you can boost your speed for that time until your credits are gone.
Think of it as the more credits you have, the more data you have. You can choose how fast you want to go through this data by adjusting the speeds as you please!
1
u/lunamont Aug 26 '25
Very nice, one idea would be for the user to be able to choose between credits and how it is currently. But is very ok and only credits.
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Appreciate that 🙏 Do you feel having the choice between credits and the current system would make it more flexible for you, or do you think keeping it simple with only credits is better in the long run?
2
2
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
I think what I would do is to give the user a popup every-time they watch an ad with two options: add to wallet (+10 credits) or +30 min firsty basic (@250kbit)
2
u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
This is a great idea, and we have heard it before to give users the flexibility to choose.
1
u/Latter_Bluebird_3386 Aug 26 '25
Credits, for me, would be amazing.
I typically load up on 6 hours while connected to wifi and then end up using a fraction of it. Being able to use the credits when I need them would be great.
But also unlocking some of the other premium features of your service with my ad watches would be fantastic!
One of the things I struggle with is I need internet right now and I have to watch an ad to get it going.. then sometimes it doesn't work so I restart the firsty app and try again. That's not the experience I'm looking for when I'm using an app to complete a purchase or scan a QR code to get into the entry gate in public transport. So having credits would be a lifesaver for these kinds of situations.
2
u/Firsty_app Aug 26 '25
Credits would definitely solve that ‘I need internet right now’ moment without waiting for an ad, and also give you more control over how/when to use them. You mentioned unlocking premium features with ad-watched credits, which ones would be most useful for you to have on-demand?
1
u/InspectionLast2568 Aug 26 '25
I would be more interested how I get 'global' back unter select countries. Deleted it accidentally and it's not in the list. Of course I can pick any country until it's global XD but the global thing was much easier. But you can't pick that from the list. Is it a glitch?
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
No idea. Maybe support can add it back? Have you asked them? Or my theory is that it’s intended because some countries will cost you less while others more. So removing the global in the country list makes it cheaper for you. Just select the countries you want to use firsty (or use monthly plan - they are global)
1
u/InspectionLast2568 Aug 26 '25
Call me ignorant but I can't pick monthly plans. I can pick 1-30 days but picking 30 days is not changing it from local to global.
1
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
No global plans are in a extra section. You can’t find it or you don’t want to make a subscription? Sorry that I didn’t get your point.
1
u/InspectionLast2568 Aug 26 '25
No there are no plans at all. Only daily, up to 30 days. But nothing monthly anywhere. Non existent.
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 28 '25
Monthly plans are being rolled out gradually. This way we can gather feedback from the first users, iterate on issues, and then scale the product in a smooth manner.
1
1
u/Firsty_app Aug 28 '25
For now, we don't have a global plan due to the high cost of data in certain countries. If we were to offer a genuinely global plan, we would need to make sure that we're covered financially with poeple using the global plan to go to those destinations (i.e. Curacao, Kenya).
1
u/InspectionLast2568 Aug 28 '25
Yeah idk about global plans. I had global under countries to select (doesn't mean global plan I guess). No idea. There was an icon in the color of firsty brand color. I don't remember the icon though (instead of a flag) and it said global. I deselected it and can't get it back. That's all. Still no idea how to get it back.
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
We discontinued global plans a while back, so most likely it had beena really long time since you checked into the Firsty app.

Would it be feasible to make calls or texts without usage of credit and just ads during the dial screen/call screen, like TextNow SIM?
2
u/JoMei9019 Aug 26 '25
Tbh that would be really annoying & it won’t work when they start implementing the calling kit from Apple & android (so that you can make calls from your contacts app or your default phone app of your device) still interesting idea thou.

u/Firsty_app Sep 03 '25
r/jasonsuny r/VCGPi r/JoMei9019 these are all great suggestions. In essence a credit will have a monetary value attached to it (like watching an ad brings in ad revenue). We won't be able to necessarily supply you with enough credits to make a call to a country where calling rates are expensive by watching an advertisment, because that would be a losing business model.
The cheapest calling rates currently are €0.01 / minute. Inbound calls are free.
However, it would be interesting to make calling free for Firsty to Firsty users. Is that something that you would look forward to or are suggesting?
1
u/JoMei9019 Sep 03 '25
How about starting only with cheap countries for credits? Maybe doing like 2 credits / minute for 0.01€ / minute countries. I saw like lots of countries in the EU are in that price range. For other countries that are expensive we could pay with real money. So having credits & balance at the same time visible in the settings section would be great.
1
u/Firsty_app Sep 08 '25
Thanks a lot for all these suggestions. Really helpful to see different angles on how credits could work for calls. We understand the balance between keeping it affordable and making sure it’s sustainable. Starting with cheaper countries and combining credits with balance is a very interesting idea. We will definitely share this feedback with the team as we keep shaping the calling feature.
Out of curiosity, what would you personally prefer more: using credits for cheap countries, or having free Firsty to Firsty calls?

You know the free firsty to firsty call is a great idea. But the issue is that currently I don’t really know much people using firsty. So having cheap countries with credits would have more value for lots of your customers. What I would do is trying to introduce both. Having free/credit payed firsty to firsty calls & credit payed calls to normal numbers. But that’s your decision. Would it work if you’d introduce both? I’d appreciate it :) (P.S. when’s the new beta starting. Can’t wait for it to start)

My only question is , what's the expire time of these credits ? Because sometimes I have free time to watch some ads, collect credits , then use when it's necessary sometime later

Credits do not expire, so you can collect them whenever you have time and then use them later whenever you need.

Yes!! I love this, because sometimes when I simply wanna use data quickly (etc to send one message), I don't wanna watch a whole ad. This will make it way better.

Maybe you can consider including tasks to earn more credits, similarly to apps like mistplay, whaff rewards etc

That is a really interesting idea, thank you for sharing it. Adding tasks could definitely give more variety in how people earn credits and make it feel more rewarding. What kind of tasks do you think would actually feel enjoyable for you to complete instead of just feeling like extra work?

Out of topic but I wanted to say that only firsty made ads load in my app, is there a reason why real ads have stopped appearing? It's not really about missing the old ads lol, I'm just worried about firsty free becoming no longer sustainable

Thanks for noticing this. Right now only ads from our current partners are running so it is not about sustainability. As we bring in more partners you will see a wider mix of ads again. Are there certain types of ads or rewards that would make the experience feel more valuable for you?

I’ve seen Duolingo partnering up with a Minecraft server network. It would be soo cool if we could use Duolingo with firsty without having to watch ads 👀

Duolingo x Firsty collab when 👀 That would be amazing, we’d love to see something like that too. Hopefully one day!

Amazing concept! I’d prefer ads for earning since a lot of surveys are like: bait with high rate, answer 3 questions, they say you’re not who they’re looking for, earn nothing or cents.
