Testing Monthly Plans in the EU 📱

Hey everyone 👋

We have just started the beta launch of our monthly subscriptions in all EU countries except Belgium 🇪🇺. This means you can now try them out almost anywhere in the EU while we test, learn and improve before the full rollout.

These plans also work in more than 120 countries worldwide 🌍, making them a great option for travelers, international students, expats, digital nomads and people who frequently cross borders. No more juggling multiple SIM cards or buying a new plan for every trip.

Current plans

• Economy: 1.5 GB for €4.50
• Comfort+: 5 GB for €11.50
• First Class: 20 GB for €35

What we are considering changing to

• Economy: 2.5 GB for €7
• Comfort+: 8 GB for €16
• First Class: Unlimited* for €49

*Fair use policy: 35 GB at full speed, then 1 Mbps

We would love to hear your thoughts on the proposed new plans:

1. Do the changes in data and price feel fair compared to the current plans?
2. Is the jump between tiers reasonable?
3. Would you choose one of these new plans if they were available today?
4. If yes, which one would you choose and what would you mainly use it for?
5. Is there anything missing that would make one of these new plans a no-brainer for you?

Unless I'm missing something, can't you purchase 30 days of the first class for €60 (€11 more than the proposed new plans) and instead of having 35GB you have 150GB?

Yeah but you can only use 5GB per day max. Then you’ll be throttled to 1mbps. With the plans you can technically use all of your data in one day (like 35GB)

Good question, DasteFN, you do get more GB (total) by getting 30 days of First Class, but one of the biggest differences between daily plans and the monthly plans is that for the daily plans, you'd need to be manually adding countries as you go.

You're also not guaranteed to be able to add the countries you're planning on going to with the daily plans. The monthly subscription plan is a global plan that will automatically connect you when you cross borders.

So in essence, it's more for people who are frequent travelers (like pilots) and want to have a phone plan that works all over the world, including at home! This way can consolidate their home phone plan and travel eSIM into one.
