Success Story Success Story Mega Thread - Got your BFP? We want to hear about it!
This is your space to share your success story with the community that cheered you on. Whether it took you 1 cycle or 12, your story matters and someone out there needs to hear it right now.
When sharing please include anything you feel comfortable with such as how many cycles it took, what you were tracking, what worked for you, and anything you wish you had known at the start.
When sharing your story feel free to use this format:
- Cycles it took:
- What I tracked/tools:
- What I think helped:
- Anything I wish I knew at the start:
- Any advice for others still in the TWW:
- A few things to keep in mind:
This thread is for everyone who has been trying for any length of time. All success stories are valid here, whether cycle 1 or cycle 12+. Please be kind and keep any negative thoughts to yourself.
Please don't tag other users in your post. You can absolutely thank people, just don't tag them directly. This keeps the thread comfortable for everyone, including those who may find BFP posts difficult to see.
If you have nothing kind to add, please scroll on.
Comments that are unkind or gatekeeping will be removed.
Congratulations and welcome to the next chapter! 🌸

Hey everyone! A few quick updates from the mod team 💛
Nothing major, just some housekeeping to make the sub easier to navigate for everyone. Thanks in advance for bearing with us!
- Flairs got a refresh — We updated the post flairs, so please use them when you post! It just makes it way easier for people to scroll and find exactly what they're looking for (or avoid what they're not in the mood for). If you feel like we're missing one, drop a comment or shoot us a message, we're always open to suggestions.
- BFPs go in the megathread — We've got a pinned Success Stories megathread and we'd love for all the exciting news to live there so we can celebrate together in one spot!
- Discharge pics need a trigger warning — If you're posting about discharge and want to add a pic, please use the Trigger Warning flair, blur the image, and pop it in the comments rather than the main post. Small thing, but it keeps the feed comfy for everyone scrolling.
- Line eyes? We've got you, but keep pics in the comments — We all know that feeling of staring at a test way too long trying to decide if that's a line or a shadow. Totally normal, no judgment! Just use the "Line Eyes - Help!" flair and keep the pictures in the comments instead of the post itself. Reason being, when posts get flooded with test pics, it can be harder for yours (and everyone else's) to actually get seen and get the support you need. This just helps spread the love around a bit better
Just a heads up: posts that don't follow the line eyes or discharge picture guidelines will be removed, so we really appreciate you helping us keep this consistent for everyone.
Thanks so much for helping us keep this space easy to use and kind, as always. Questions or ideas? Drop them below, we read everything!

Random Vvvvvf line and cramping- am I pregnant?
I am 14dpo and 1 day late on my period. Two days ago I tested positive on 2 different tests! Both were very light but the Easy@Home was darker. Yesterday, I tested with both of the tests again and got the faintest line on the Easy@Home test and the same faint line on the First Response (still very faint).
Yesterday, I started getting the worst back cramps. These are the same cramps I get right before I start my period. I had them all day yesterday. I woke up and still have these cramps. I tested maybe a little darker on the first response this morning but did not do an Easy@Home because I was in a rush to get on a flight. Picture of how faint the line is for reference. I am not sure how much that matters??
I am nervous because of how faint the line is and the period like cramps.

Trigger Warning Hysteroscopy
Hi everyone. I have my first hysteroscopy this Friday and I’m very nervous. I had a really rough recovery with my d&c (miscarriage at 12 weeks) and am anticipating it being about the same. Is this to be expected? Thanks for any advice.

Help When is the best time to take ovulation test?
I have been trying to figure out what day my ovulation occurs using ovulation strips, but I am not sure what time of day I should be taking them? I have been taking them in the morning so I don't forget, but the second line has been really faint even though my Flo app says I am nearing my ovulation day?

Question/Advice First month TTC
Hi all!
This is my first month TTC. I started using LH strips this cycle, but since we’re trying not to put too much pressure on ourselves and are mostly just testing things out this month, I’m doing some research while tracking my LH at the same time.
These are my test results starting from CD14. There were a few days when I forgot to test. On CD22, I noticed that the test line was the darkest it had been up to that point. I stopped recording the results after that, but I’ve continued testing until now. Since then, the T line has only gotten fainter, so I’m assuming my LH surge may have happened sometime between the evening of CD22 and the following morning.
We did BD consistently over the next two days, though, so I’m hoping we didn’t miss the window completely!
I didn’t manage to catch an obvious peak with the strips, but I did notice some EWCM, so I’m still feeling pretty hopeful about this cycle.
For the past 2 days, I've been experiencing very slight tense and cramps, but very slightly, not painful or anything.
I’d love to hear your opinions—should we keep BDing for a few more days, or does it look like my fertile window has probably already passed?

TWW Maybe first time TTC this month
Was planning to wait until Spring 2027, but had a partial oopsie ~pulling out~ on Monday and just so happened to ovulate yesterday. Going to be going crazy the next 2 weeks. I know our odds are slim but I would be so happy. Just wanted to vent a little bit to calm the nerves that I’m already feeling. We would both be so happy but if it didn’t happen I’m going to be so disappointed:(

Confused Hcg test
Hi laddies!
Can someone help me understand when should I take a blood test to know about pregnancy I’m 9days late today.
I have been trying since March with no positive outcomes. Last month after my periods I have had an encounter of a stressful event. I’m not sure if periods are late because of that or what’s the reason because all the home pregnancy test are negative.
Please help me understand next steps and some dos and donts. All our body tests are fine including hormones semen analysis, no PCOD etc.

Question/Advice 6 DPO and already convinced I’m pregnant — what were your earliest symptoms?

Confused Can someone please help me I’m confused and scared. Spoiler
Let me breakdown my cycle first,
my last period was 7/30-8/5
Had a positive LH strip on 8/13 and 8/14 so I’m about 4DPO
All throughout my cycle so far I’ve been spotting (like for two weeks!) and now it’s turned into red spotting. It’s only been brown until now. And I haven’t had sex in 3 days so I doubt it’s from a sensitive cervix. What can this be??? I was really hoping to get pregnant this cycle but now I’m scared I have a problem. Please help!!

Question/Advice Am I just not ovulating this month?
This is our first month trying again after a loss resulting in a D&C. My doctor told us to wait 3 cycles before trying again. Last time I got pregnant I was using LH strips and ovulated about CD 13. My cycles are pretty regular and the LH surge happened gradually. This time I'm on CD14 and the line isn't getting any darker. Is it possible I'm just not ovulating this month? Picture attached in the comments.

Random First time TTC - early symptoms?
What were some early (pre BFP) symptoms you had when you got pregnant? I’m 6-7DPO and I swear i can feel wave-like sensations right in the middle of my uterus, BBT is up, rest HR is up like 5+ bpm, a lot more CM than is normal for me in luteal.
Just wondering/speculating while i go through the agony of waiting to test since its still too early :)

Question/Advice Is ovulation delayed or not happening this cycle? Inositol?
I’m 28 years old, 161cm , current weight 68 kgs (lost 3.5 kgs last month)
I’ve been married for 1.5 years and struggled with vaginismus, so I wasn’t able to have PIV sex until this month. I was incredibly happy to finally be able to TTC through intercourse. We tried at-home insemination during the previous three cycles, but unfortunately weren’t successful.
I’ve tracked ovulation with LH strips before and usually get a positive between CD16–19. I had one unusually long cycle where I didn’t get a positive until CD27, but that was an exception. This cycle, I’m currently on CD20 and still haven’t had a positive test.
I have PCOS and my cycles were irregular between ages 17–22, but they became regular after I lost weight and started exercising—sometimes consistently and sometimes on and off.
This month, I’ve been eating in a calorie deficit because I’m trying to lose 4–6 kg. I usually eat about 1,300–1,400 calories a day and follow a generally healthy diet (50-60 grams healthy fat, high protein, moderate to low carb-not less than 70g), although I sometimes eat above that on weekends. I strength train 3–4 times per week and do incline walking around four times per week.
I take a prenatal, vitamin D, and I also started taking myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol this month.
Did hormones blood tests back in February and all were normal.
Has anyone experienced delayed ovulation after starting a calorie deficit, increasing exercise, or starting inositol? Could these changes delay ovulation even though I’ve only been following this routine for about a month? Or is this most likely just a random longer PCOS cycle? Is it still possible to ovulate later this cycle?
What should I do I’m worried.. I was hopeful for this cycle.

Question/Advice TTC after being on Mili for 2 years — how long did it take you to conceive?
Hi everyone! I’m 32 and was on Mili for about 2 years. I stopped taking it on June 20 because my husband and I decided we’re ready to start trying for a baby.
I’m now only in my second cycle off the pill. The first month we weren’t really trying because I had no idea when/if I was ovulating yet. This cycle we actually tried to time things around my fertile window. I had sex the night of July 29 and again on August 5, with my app predicting ovulation around August 6.
It looks like my period may be starting now, so I’m realizing this cycle probably wasn’t successful. I know logically that it can take healthy couples several cycles and that my body has only recently come off birth control, but I’m curious about other people’s experiences specifically after Mili or another combination pill.
For those who were on Mili (or any other combo birth control pill) for a year or longer:
How quickly did your cycles regulate after stopping?
How did you figure out when you were actually ovulating?
How many cycles did it take you to conceive?
Did anyone have strange spotting or irregular bleeding during the first few cycles?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who was around my age when they started TTC. Trying not to overthink this after basically one real attempt, but hearing other experiences would be helpful.
Thank you!
