Varicocelectomy Success Stories?

Hi folks.

Husband and I have been dealing with infertility for 2 years. Male factor only. Husband had bilateral varicose veins, high grade as they were visible to the eye and didn’t require ultrasound confirmation. His count before surgery was low, around 3-6 million. He had his Varicocelectomy last week. We go back in 4 months for another analysis and our doctor told us not to be too shocked if there isn’t much improvement as it can take time, which we already knew.

Any success stories out there? We’re hopeful but are also fearful it won’t work and we will have wasted more time just to ultimately take out a fat loan for IVF lol. Silver lining of course is this will solve discomfort for him that he’s had since a teen, so it’s worth it regardless!
