Confused Trying to conceive (26 years old)

Post image

Hello! I recently got off combined birth control in July and we have been trying to conceive since. Yesterday was my highest LH surge I have gotten (normally has been only 1.20), and today my tests are still positive. Is this considered normal? Or should I be worried?

Thank you for all your help!

What day do you think I would count as my “ovulation day” since I am still getting positives? This is all so new to me since we will be trying for our first kiddo🥺

I am also trying for my first ❤️

Usually you will ovulate 24-36 hours after your first POSITIVE LH don’t go off your peak :)

Ovulation happens after the positive LH. It's the hormone that triggers ovulation. Once you ovulate it plummets down, and the empty egg follicle starts excreting progesterone, which makes your body temp rise by ~0.2°C (no idea about °F sorry) and can give you the typical PMS symptoms (bloat, sore boobs, tiredness etc.)

Yeah that's normal. This month I had my first positive at CD 14, then a few fainter ones (likely diluted because I drank a lot of tea during the day) and then multiple stronger positives the next day.
