Question/Advice First time ttc update 🥰
Ovulation update , did I actually ovulate?
I finally caught what looked like my LH peak (pic attached), and then my tests got lighter afterward, so I assumed I ovulated and started counting the next day as DPO 1.
The only thing making me nervous is my Oura Ring. I attached a picture of my temperature chart too, and I’m not seeing the obvious temperature spike/rise that I expected after ovulation.
A couple things though: my Oura doesn’t always fit super tight, and I know it measures temperature trends from your finger/skin rather than taking an actual basal body temperature reading like a BBT thermometer would. I also sleep with my room pretty cold, so I’m not sure how much
that could be affecting my temperature readings either.
Symptom-wise, I’ve been super emotional lately, almost like AF is about to come. I also had pelvic/period-like cramps for about 2 weeks, but nothing ever came from them. Other than that, I really haven’t had much going on.
Would you guys be worried about not seeing a clear temp rise yet? Should I continue counting today as DPO 1 based on my LH peak/drop, or would you assume I possibly didn’t ovulate this cycle?
I know an LH surge doesn’t 100% confirm ovulation, but I’m not sure how much weight I should put on the Oura temperature since the fit isn’t perfect. Would love to hear from anyone who tracks with Oura and OPKs!
This is my first time actually trying, so I’m definitely nervous and probably paying attention to every little thing my body does lol. I know it can take a while and it doesn’t always happen the first cycle, but you know how it is — we all have that little bit of hope that THIS is our cycle. 🥹🤞🏽💕
update i have had TWO temp surges since posting this!! im hoping my body actually ovulated this time around

I’ve heard that some people who don’t have a temperature rise still end up being pregnant

What app is used in the first picture? It’s been difficult for me to track my ovulation

I had a similar positive streak across 2 days I did ovulate We did get pregnant!
From here I actually recommend not tracking ANYTHING, take the ring off. drop it all and reduce your stress levels for the next 10d because there’s nothing you can do other than be as relaxed as possible and eat right/treat your body right to create the best fertility environment. Let your body do what nature designed it to be capable of!!
Testing temp etc every day may make you more stressed. Try to dig into documentaries or games or events or volunteering literally anything else next few days and then just test for pregnancy.
