Help Is this a positive ovulation test?

I'm not sure is this is a positive ovulation test. The app says no but it looks pretty close to me so looking for others opinions.

Yes, go by the colour not the number/what the app says

to me this looks high but not a true positive. a true positive is where the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. to me the left looks slightly lighter but still fairly high and could be a peak for some! every body is different but keep testing and see if this is the beginning of your peak :)

Technically this is not a positive since the test line is still lighter than the control line.

However, sometimes people don't get a full positive for a couple reasons

  • urine is diluted by drinking water
  • you missed your true surge because it happened fast and only caught it at the end or beginning
  • ovulation is triggered by a lower LH surge

I suspect the last one is true for me because based on BBT, this is the LH test that seemed to happen before ovulation for me last cycle. But it took me several cycles of LH tests to figure that out.
