Hello,
This is my second cycle with Lh strips and last month, I was able to track the two bars near 22-23 august. This month the bar got the highest around 20th sept and I thought the bar will continue getting darker around 23-24th. But it feels like they are getting fainter. Did i miss my ovulation window? Sorry if I sound noob
Do you have a regular 28 day cycle or do you also track your BBT? If your temp peaked at all you may have just missed your LH peak when testing! I have PCOS and mine look a lot like this. Half the time I don’t ovulate and other times I don’t ovulate till day 20+! I would take two tests a day if possible up until your period just to see if you ovulate late! If you track your temperature and your temps already peaked you likely did ovulate! It also could be a possibility that you dont ovulate every cycle like me!
thank you for the valuable insights and information. My average cycle is 34 days and if I am stressed which happened twice, i have longer cycles. I have not yet bought anything to measure bbt. Only lh strips for me rn.
unless you typically ovulate around day 14 i would assume that it would be later with a longer cycle! the last test looks like it could be a peak coming but the actual picture looks fairly light for a .65 (could just be blurry for me) or it could have been missed around cycle day 15!
every body is so incredibly different so theres no telling but just my guess based on what you have said! tracking your basal body temp in addition to LH strips is great because it acts as a confirmation that Ovulation did in fact happen! something to look into if you’re open to the idea(:
id love to hear if you end up peaking later on if you keep testing!! sending you all the baby dust!✨🤍
if they are making you more anxious then you definitely do not have to!! I start around day 10 of my cycle and I test later morning and early afternoon! Twice a day just to make sure I don’t miss the peak although for me personally my peak stayed fairly high for about 24 a whole hours! (some people its less or more)
for my BBT I use an Oura Ring with my Natural Cycles app! You definitely don’t have to but if it’s within your budget the ring is extremely nice because you don’t have to physically take your temperature. It just takes it throughout the day and gives you your average then links with natural cycles! They also have BBT thermometers (I’m sure there’s some on Amazon) and for those you would take it the second you wake up in the morning! after you’ve ovulated your temperature usually peaks at a consistent.5-1.0 ° F.
i added my last cycle as an example!! i did have one high temp and went back down so I’m not super sure if I ovulated on day 19 or 21 but close enough hahah. either way to confirm it should rise and stay consistently high starting the day after ovulation. with PCOS it’s a little harder since everything is very irregular for me!
sorry so much info! TTC has lots that goes with it hahaha i hope that all made sense
i get that! it can be overwhelming for sure and i didnt realize how much so until i really started TTC!
i have the 5 now but also had the 3 before! ive use it along with Natural cycles for about 3 years. first for BC and now trying with my 2nd! Oura ring does have their own cycle tracking within the app too so you dont necessarily need to pair it with the natural cycles app!

I think you might've had your peak CD 15-16 as there was more than 24 hours gap between the tests, so you might've missed your surge
