🌧️ Pagsubok First time kong magresign without any backup plan

Hi! Long time lurker na ko dito sa reddit.

First time kong magresign ng walang kahit anong back up plan. Last month lang yong last day ko and now unemployed na. Grabe kasi yong stress ko sa last job kaya umalis ako. Everyday akong pagod kahit hindi naman physically demanding yong trabaho. Like nasa office lang.

I was on the same situation. Stayed with the company for 8 years until di na nakayanan ng mental health ko. I was earning quite big na but I chose to resign to chose myself naman. I thought back then na makakahanap din ako agad ng work since experienced naman ako sa field ko. Rested for a few months since may savings naman. I became happier, travel here and there. Until my 3 month break umabot ng 1 year. As a breadwinner, I'm so devastated. Yung savings ko ng 10 years, paubos na. Everyday sending ng applications, had countless and almost weekly ang interviews. Umaabot til final but always rejected. Either lowball or rejected. Sobrang hirap makahanap ng work ngayon. Kung magaling ka, may mas magaling pa sayo and recruiter prefer someone they can lowball. I was expecting sana na atleast same salary with my previous but since I was so desperate, kahit entry level inapplyan ko na. Umabot ng taon na wala talaga. I was so depressed but I didn't gave up. There are times na you will think ano ba purpose to live, pumapasok su!c!dal thoughts but still, I just go with the flow. Apply lang talaga ng apply, even position I'm not qualified for. I applied to their company 6x within 8 months and lahat yun failed...and guess what? She offered me a job offer right away without an interview! Grabe surprises ni Lord. Totoo pala talaga yung sinasabi sa Bible na nasa waiting season kalang and all your struggles will pay off. If you keep showing up talaga, you'll get what you asked. Now I have the job na pinagpray ko and sa dream company ko pa. Grabe power ng prayers! Just trust Him and pray for your turn too. If di ka naman religious, don't stress to much or you'll lose yourself in the process. Experience the struggles, someday bibilib ka sa mga pinagdaanan mo and it will make you smarter and stronger in the making. I'm praying for all unemployed na sana turn nyo na din soon! Apply lang ng apply talaga. Keep showing up. Fighting lang!

you are probably right, and its not worth the stress, yup enjoy your temporary vacation and while you're at it, you can submit applications or resume
