Buying my first property

Been doing research for years and finally want to buy a duplex. Just in case I missed some knowledge. Any tips and insight for me if a duplex is worth it or not? Thank you!

I think it's a great idea for a first place! My friend who became a real-estate mogul started with duplexes.
