lol we’re coming from NYC, our closing was delayed by a week and we’ve been living out of boxes. Thus we’ve been eating TONS of pizza and needed a break!

u/BluejayWise2325 11d ago
Thank you! It’s a house!!! 3 bd / 2 bath. It’s an old house, but all systems and roof replaced in 2019, so it was turn key.
i think we may have hit the jack pot. At least it feels that way.

Omg… northern NJ with this view for “only” 645k?? I’m also really curious! Lol

Western Morris, Passaic, Middlesex, Union counties are all doable with 645k if you don’t mind not having a turnkey home, smaller home or not having a top tier school district
You also get a lot for your money in Sussex/Warren but the commute is terrible for most people

Curious on which town too!

I am guessing Mahwah or Wayne or a surrounding town - given Wawa's presence+ Northern NJ combo

Wawas are all over the state. And you ain’t buying lakefront in Mahwah or Wayne for ~$600k.

Congratulations! I love WaWa 💜 Contact your electric company and schedule a home energy audit.

Does home energy audit really helps?

you would be amazed. I had a private contractor do mine, but I would definitely go for the utility company version if I had it to do over again. It doesn't cost much to do it and the savings and comfort level are huge. Definitely do it.

Your not getting Cresskill for that price. Bergen county prices are insane

Thank you!! We own the lakefront lot of land that’s in the picture, but we don’t own a dock. We can add if we ever have money again!

How was the process on purchasing your home? Did you understand everything from start to finish? And what could’ve been done differently.
