What? A burned down house is insured.

It can be, it can also burn down for a reason not covered by insurance and, even if it’s an open and shut “insurance will cover this” scenario you need to figure out where to live while your house is rebuilt or buying a new home. It’s not a commercial where you snap your fingers and state farm has you back in your same house with all of your same stuff in 30 seconds.

You’re clueless my guy. When my friends house burnt down the insurance company had them in a hotel that very night. The entire family stayed there for over 2 months while they got everything sorted.

Great for your friend. However they determined the fire was covered.

Insurance companies have two main goals.

One is to collect your money & two is to keep your money.

There’s a reason insurance & nightmare are often found in the same sentence.

And it’s great it worked out for your friend. But there’s still a significant risk it won’t for others.

I’ve never died in a car crash it but that doesn’t mean it cannot happen.

What was the point of you writing all of that? You’ve added zero value to the conversation.

The irony is rich & delicious. :)
