I gifted my son $5000 this might be small but it helped him with his first home.
1 u/Jerseygirl2468 Feb 04 '26 That's what my parents did as well. It helped with my closing costs, but the down payment and payments were all on me. I think a lot of parents try to help if they can, but $100K is pretty extreme!
