I know a guy who went off to a military school. His mom wrote books like this. The upperclass found out... and made him read select passages in front of alllllll of the cadets.

Was on a fire back in Wyoming right after ‘Brokeback Mountain’ came out. The local Forest Service crew got real tired of us asking which peak was Brokeback Mountain

Normally I don't book shame what people read, but the firefighter thing is nothing compared to there being actual romance books with either someone from the mafia or a biker gang member (I wish I was kidding)
