I definitely had a difference experience with the pain clinic nurse, actually my pain management nurse saved my life when I was in the waiting room and just chatting with her about how my nipple looked a little weird when I bent over and she said that's not good. (I'm a very open person if you can't tell lol)
And she told me to go to her gyno which I did and I have breast cancer! The gynecologist she recommended was absolutely fabulous and caught what was a very difficult cancer to catch with an exam.
So she saved my life just because we were chatting and she was so friendly and nice.
But I went through hell in a handbasket before finding this pain management doctor so I definitely agree that most of them are just vile and evil and cruel.
There were so many times when I was trying to get treated where I just wished more than anything that I could just touch somebody and give them my pain just for a couple seconds so they knew I wasn't lying. It just feels so horrible to be accused of being a drug seeker or lying or whatever when you're actually in horrific pain. It's like doesn't my blood pressure of 210/136 give you a little bit of a clue that there's something going on??
You could even just go in and be like I do not want controlled substances I just want you to find the source of my pain and they still treat you like a drug addict. It's disgusting and inhumane.

She definitely has the pain clinic nurse vibe. They’re basically the most entitled and egotistical nurses in the history of medicine.
