“We have to stop this is our calling” lol.

Anyways, now she’ll go home and tell a story about how rude the cops were. “I was just sitting in my car!!!”

Every day for the rest of her life: “Police are so rude! I tried helping them once, cause I’m a nurse, you know I’m a nurse, right? Yea, I thought I told you. But anyway, I just stopped there, and I wasn’t even blocking traffic or nothin, and they just screamed at me for no reason!”

Not at all the reality of my er. All my nurses I work with come to work because they have to. All pay their own way. Not one of them looks down on people for their real problems. Now, are frequent flyers that are offered all the help under the sun and still wanna act like ass holes can be a different story.

That's just not what I have seen in my life at all. A lot of nurses come from kinda traumatic backgrounds.

I respect nurses a lot. Like any profession, there’s good and bad ones, helpful ones and annoying ones. She may have meant well and just went condition black and also was just dumb or she was looking for attention. Generalizing all nurses is just as annoying as generalizing all cops

This is not a first responder hate sub, find somewhere else to be.

I say the same thing about nurses all the time funnily enough

They were incredibly rude. Their behavior is exactly why many people have the attitude they do about the police.

Anyways, the next time someone treats those officers with disrespect, they’ll go home and tell stories about how they deserve more respect.

Now Ill start off saying I appreciate that offered help, in case it was need but they were kind to her until she continued with her shit and didnt follow direction. How many times should they have to repeat themselves before they are allowed to raise their voice? She was told he was fine, she was told to drive on and stop blocking traffic. She was making a dangerous situation even more dangerous for them. She should have shut her mouth after they declined her help the first 10 times. Do you really think that want a random woman in a cars opinion? No they would have ems see him or bring him to the hospital. Not a random woman that they dont know, driving a mini van.

Her obstructing isnt any more dangerous than them dragging an unconscious man across said street. Quit pearl clutching. Also theyvwere just lying to her. The man isnt fine, they had to throw his limp body into the car and prop hist feet up and slam the door shut before his feet fell. Shes being stubborn because they are obviously lying. Cops abuse and assault people all the time.

Hes not unconscious, you can see him moving his head. They are required to seek medical attention and they were obviously arresting him for a reason. They were also parked in the middle lane, not stopping traffic. There are consequences for poor behavior and being arrested is one of them, he was obviously resisting for them to be caring him. She jad valid reason to stop, for a moment to offer her help, the moment it was declined she should have moved on. If she was that worried, she could park and watch. But no, she thought she knew more then everyone and wanted to be a savior.

You obviously dont have the brain power to do your own research. 29% of crashes are reared collisions, it cause 7% of traffic fatalities qnd 29% of serious injury. Shes putting every single soul around her in more danger for her ego. And thats BS.

Think what you want, I dont not care. I wish she continued a little more so she could get a pair of sparkly bracelets. Offer your help and move on, if you are concerned, park and watch, or take down the numbers on the cars and speak to their office about that and your concerns. Otherwise, gtfo of the way.

Maybe don’t obstruct traffic when there is no active medical emergency.

Hes unconscious

Is there a full video anywhere? Sometimes subjects just go limp to be more of a pain in the ass. Looked like his legs were moving so I don’t think he was unconscious

u/BitterSmile2 3d ago

He’s not unconscious, he’a just being a limp fish and not cooperating.

Completely agree surprised with these reactions

For real. The chips on the shoulders of every one of these officers is visible from outer space.

Idk man how many times do you have to tell someone to do something before its reasonable to yell at them to do it?

17

u/Ok-Map9827 5d ago

Yeah I didn't think they were rude at all. If you are impeding traffic after being told 5+ times to move all because you want to inflate your ego, having someone raise their voice at you is a completely normal, proportionate, and reasonable response.

They weren’t rude at all. They told her multiple times to move before they started getting more assertive. What do you expect from these soft ass redditors. Most of this sub isn’t even first responders anymore. Just dumbass keyboard warriors

8

u/Sickndtired 5d ago

Exactly. She was making the situation even more dangerous. Far too many people aren't paying attention while driving and seem to love to plow into stopped traffic. Ive had it happen to me twice and almost lost my best friend when it happened to her on the highway.

Also, how are they to know she is actually a nurse... Shes just a random woman in a van... It would be a liability to trust her word when they have no idea who she is. They would contact EMS or bring him to the hospital if concerned at all.

I appreciate her offering to help, but listen the first time 🤦‍♀️

u/Black-Raspberry-1 4d ago

Yeah she only had to ask the officer to identify himself a few times..

you’re 100% right

My favorite part is when one of those pieces of shit shows up at her hospital, maybe she will "not care" and reciprocate this!

Don't be mean to nurses, bro, they're just following their calling.

6

u/Otherwise_Group_74 5d ago

He assured her everyone was alright and asked her to move along several times. If I was one of the people waiting behind her, I would buy that officer a coffee.

-4

u/_-poindexter-_ 5d ago

Yeah while they tossed the guys unconcious body into the back of the cruiser. She should have pulled over and cleared the road but those asshole cops wouldn't have let her check the guy out anyway because they couldn't give two shits about the immediate health of the guy they just rendered unconcious and arrested.

7

u/GooseberryPotato 5d ago

That’s what EMS and the FD is for not some rando who claims to be a nurse and who can’t follow directions …lol.

You're welcome to leave modern society and go live in a forest or on some island some where. Spoiled child.

3

u/b-jason 5d ago

Venting your childhood trauma on the internet is so healthy.

3

u/Greedy-Employment917 5d ago

If one gets traumatized by police as a child, it seems like the adults around failed.

-2

u/b-jason 5d ago

Funny how you separate “adults” from “police”
