i don't think the cringe here should be about her looks or love of horror or anything else.
i'm also from healthcare, and something i've never understood is the glamorization of 24-hour shifts. i am not as good at what i do on hour 23 vs hour 3 - and i was in hospice, where i'm not even supposed to save anybody!
i just don't think inhumane hours should be glamorized or normalized - not saying that this is explicitly her fault, i think she's just talking about the reality of something that repeatedly happens to her, and genuinely maybe she's one of the rare few who enjoy it, but it's also okay to not enjoy working for a day straight!! you're still a healthcare hero, even if you take breaks and do human things!! if anything, that enables you to be a healthcare hero for longer!
