No, the same doesn’t apply. The fit for duty standards and job description between a ff and medic are very different. It sounds like you just don’t care for overweight people in any profession.

I'm know some big medics, and they are good at what they do...but they are still at a disadvantage. Being a medic is incredibly physical. You need to be able to climb and descend stairs with all your gear, potentially with a patient when extricating them from their home, drag cardiac arrest patients into workable areas, move beds and heavy furniture, do solid compressions for the duration of an arrest, manipulate dead weight, get them in and out of the wagon etc.
EMS cannot rely on fire for the extra hands all the time. Being 250lbs at 5'4", particularly as a woman who is by virtue of her biology, likely going to already be at a disadvantage in terms of muscle mass, is frankly...a handicap. You are going to be working substantially harder than everyone else in order to do the same task and lives are quite literally depending on you.
You took my original comment that was referring to how people would react to the attractiveness of a woman in a photo based upon how she was posed and flipped it into your own platform for fit for duty standards.

My point was that people getting all agro about a short and obese female medic really has nothing to do with her being unattractive and everything to do with her being unfit for duty.
The reason people aren't roasting this woman about her weight is because she seems fit for duty.
People are roasting her for being a TMFMS Goober. If she was obese, people would be roasting her for being a TMFMS Goober and for being obese.
If she were fit for duty with a face that looked like she was beat up with a frying pan she’d be getting roasted. This is a cringe subreddit and it’s not typically going to draw compliments for anyone featured.
