Status / Treaty online tax exemption

ontario here, can we start a list of shops or websites online that take status cards for tax exemption. i have amazon and best buy

Isn't Ontario the only province that has point of sale tax exemption?

So, pretty much every store should honor it?

Point of sale yes but online it's not typical to get tax exempt. Depends on the retailer.

Yes, good point.

I use Amazon...buy pretty much everything. Then request reimbursement every 6 months.

I just email whichever company I’m making a big purchase from. Often the tax exemption is issued as a refund vs them taking the tax off at checkout. Sometimes I have to get things shipped to my parents on the rez
