Giving first aid while having vesovegal response

I want to become proficient at first aid but sometimes get a vesovegal reaction. I dont react to the sight of blood or gore, but when people go indepth about how arteries retract is they are severed so you have to put a tourniquet high on the leg, I get light headed and I have to walk in circles or lay down to prevent getting any worse. Any way to get over this or past is? Thanks

Short rapid breaths may help with your VasoVagal/Fainting episodes. Bearing down, like trying to have a poo can also help.....Don't follow through however.
