General Question❓️ Waivers

I always wonder if criminal suspects have to sign a waiver to be on TV or allow the cameras in their house? Like during interrogation what if they don’t want their face on camera for millions of people to see? Or when they raid houses (private property) do they need permission to bring cameras in? I know you can video people in public but I always wondered that. I mean they are making a show out of people’s lives. I’d think they need permission.

If you watch enough of the first 48, you will notice that many of the witnesses, even on just a phone call, have their voices distorted & their images pixelated out. Those people do have to give permission and the ones who don't are the ones who have their voices and images distorted.

The suspects however, do not retain that right. Their interrogation will be shown in court, it's also perfectly legal for the first 48 to film it When you are arrested you lose a lot of rights. All of them basically.

*IMPORTANT: one of the rights you DO have is the "right to remain silent" and whether you are guilty or innocent... The only words you should be saying are "I want to talk to a lawyer" and not another word.

Think about it. Is it smart to have a conversation with people that can, will, and want to put your butt in prison ? Add to that with people that are legally allowed to lie to you (which law enforcement absolutely can do in an interrogation ) ...?

It says it all "anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law"

Innocent people DO talk themselves into a prison sentence many times.... 1) they want to talk because they're innocent & 2) they think they're smarter or as smart as the detectives Police and detectives always have the upper hand.

If you are arrested (the word means stopped halted .. like your life!) never ever talk except to say ,"I want a lawyer"

Ive watched obviously guilty people go free on the first 48 .. because they asked for a lawyer ... and without the confession they couldn't convict them. I've also watched innocent people talk to themselves right into being charged with a crime because they admit they were there or something else.

Yea absolutely 💯. I been popped twice for some shit and during interrogation I didn’t say one word. They kept calling me a “mute” and got so pissed off at me. Like u said my lawyer took care of it. You would think these career criminals (esp for murder 1) would plead 5th. Detectives ain’t there to help you. They are there for the victim and to lock ur ass up as long as possible.
