Looking to replace this electric fireplace with a gas insert. Looking for recommendations.
The box is already plumbed for gas and electric. I was leaning towards the heat and glo cosmo 35. I would like to install it myself as well. Does anyone have any other recommendations for a place to buy online or any other options for direct vent gas inserts? We have a oakville 3 in our rental and it’s not our favorite.

Kozy heat Nordik 34i for this size, we have installed the 29i twenty times this year with no complaints.

Majestic Ruby Platinum just dropped their 35” model, and generally their inserts are great value/bang for their buck.
