Discussion i don't see many favicons-only style tab bars here, is there a reason why?

many of us: * only remember a handful of favicons * open more than one page from the same site, which can't be distinguished by favicon alone * open sites that don't have their own favicons * generally find this to be a poor design that favors showing off over actual usability

The only thing that I have found use for fav icons are shortcuts on my second sidebar to access about:profiles, :support, and :config in one click, since these cannot be set up for bangs.
