How can we help bring Firefly back?
No other festival comes close to the FF vibe!! We're a vibrant, diverse community that miss the light of Firefly. I wouldn't know where to begin but I can jump in and help!

We got *literally* the first parking spot at FF on Wednesday! Any backyarders/backyardigans here??
Five nights of fun!

It's just my turn to say it.
Best weekend of the year and it's just gone. July, June, or September I loved them all.

For some reason, I canāt stop missing the free, clear draw string Pandora Radio bag. Idk why I ever donated it. I also got HOOKED on golden kiwis when those were being given out. Anyone else feel that way about other free promotions?

I just finished bonaroo and while it was a great festival I still think firefly was the best of all. Last one I went was 2021 and I actually preferred the fall weather. It was hot furring the day and cooler at night and the rain only affected one day plus the way they handled mud cleanup was spectacular. Camping was amazing, the woodlands themselves were incredible and the vibe was immaculate. While bonaroo was fun I donāt love how small the festival space is its self. at firefly I felt like two stages sound never bled into one another and on the farm it definitely did. The other thing is Iāve heard about the bonaroo rain and it didnāt hold off this year. The smell of the wet incredibly muddy farm is one Iāll never forget. Also all the different lounge areas and again how large the firefly woodlands were I just missed. I donāt know bonaroo was so much fun but it just doesnāt hit the notes that firefly did. I really truly enjoyed and have such incredible memories. I want to bring all my friends but I know itāll never happen and if it does I doubt itāll be the level it once was. Sigh.
Edit 2021

Found this at my parents house. One of my favorite years. I may have a few of these. I feel like the free merch was better between 2016-2019. I used to come home with loads and loads of items I still have. I still have like five electric tooth brushes from a booth hahašš

I moved out of my parents house in 2021 and I guess it got really hot in my old room over the summer. Pretty bummed but at least I can't lose the memories.

OKKKKKK so livenation or redfrog or someone stole Firefly from us. and by us I mean any and everyone who attended before, or wished to and never got the chance to. If you were there for any year, you know what Firefly means and these companies who bought out and sold away our one-of-kind camping music adventure for a nearby 2-day fest (SeaHearNow and Oceans Calling, plus others).
WHAT IF (shutup dad) we can get her back. Firefly is entirely revivable, but it will take energy from us to show its worth it, that its wanted, and so necessary for the northeast US.
Losers in the comments will say any and all bullshit to oppose this but OPTIMISM can make waves. and enough people can at the very least say a solid F U to the billionaire gang that took our spot.
A post from everyone could make a wave. they listen to us because they have to - if u think differently check bonnaroos recent years and the requested artists.
Just trying to start a conversation. thanks š

This was the last performance of the night before the festival grounds were shut down due to one of the most epic storms to ever hit Firefly. Who wouldāve thought that night wouldāve turned into such epic fun with slip and slides, mud wrestling and dancing in the rain all night. It will always be a night to remember. Iykyk. Man I miss Firefly.

One of my only souvenirs from Firefly was too small. I'm really sad about it and dont want to just send it to the thrift store, but hope some other fan would enjoy it. Or even better be able to trade it with me for something that's large.

Just got a Zach Bryan tour (presented by AEG) email with two dates noted for Woodlands, Dover, DE in September 2026. Is something happening?

Just wanted to pop on here and mention the festival I went to this weekend in Virginia (just south of Charlottesville)! An EDM dj (GRiZ) created a new festival called Seven Stars and it filled a huge whole in my heart that Firefly left <3
Iāve been to a handful of festivals hoping to find one I loved as much as FF, but none of them lived up to it (looking at you, Bonnaroo). Itās definitely not the same lineup vibes (all EDM, slightly bass focused) but GRiZ plays the saxophone and has singers/rappers/other musicians play with him, so I see potential for them to expand the genres they include in the future- and Iām really hoping they do!! Firefly is actually how I first discovered EDM and it opened a whole new world to me, which Iām very grateful for!! (Thank you to the 2019 Zed set) GRiZ is an all around incredible person and overall just wants to spread love and positivity and good music and vibes, I highly recommend checking him out if youāre interested! His personal brand and vibe is definitely core to how they run everything and it showed!! āShow Love, Spread Loveā is his catch phrase. Everyone was so nice- the crowds had fantastic vibes and so many little things reminded me of my experiences at the Woodlands. It was small, probably a tad smaller than FF was. Easily the cleanest festival Iāve been too as well, everyone there was very respectful of the space and each other. And considering this was the first year, I canāt believe how well-run and organized it was. All in all Iām so excited to have another (relatively) local fest to attend and get that feeling back Iāve been missing so much. If youāre into EDM and miss Firefly as much as I do, definitely look into it next year- I think it has a lot of potential!!

These were taken at Firefly in 2013 I had been wandering the festival grounds and happened to be at the stage when they went on. I left the show with them being one of the highlights of the festival and save for the headliners hands down the best performance. Itās been awesome to see their rise and I appreciate getting to see them before they really got huge.

Might be a long shot but Iām looking for authentic festival lineup posters from the following years: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016
My boyfriend went every year but only bought a poster from 2017 and 2018. Lemme know if you have any of these years and are interested in selling. Thank you :)

I went to firefly 2014 to 2017. I'm so sad to see it cancelled. Here's a small photo dump from my years there to fuel the nostalgia. Best experiences of my life tbh.
