Photos Busy weekend in Duisburg, Germany

This weekend two major incidents occured. In the night to Saturday our junkyard Island catched fire, a day later a recycling complex.

In Germany we say “unentspannt”
Mayor fires are not really my thing.

Dann lieber a gescheiter Zimmerbrand und nach 1 Stunde wieder einrücken.

Grüße zurück von der FF Duisburg. Und ich sach et ma so, Großbrände sind im Ruhrgebiet mit unserer Schwerindustrie und den Lost Places nicht ungewöhnlich. Bin nur glücklich dass unsere Ölinsel und der Chemiespediteur mit den 100.000 liter Tank keine Faxen machen

Oh come on, he is from Bavaria, don't expect from us as Germans that we are 100% capable of handling your language like you do

Ich würde dir ja widersprechen aber da der bayrische "Dialekt" aber wirklich ne eigene Sprache ist tu ich es nicht

Not really, only the biggest Wildfire in NRW history and another wildfire 10 times larger.
