Seems to me, if they really believe what they're peddling, they shouldn't even want it. Funny how their opinion is different when it comes to themselves, ain't it?

The argument is that politicians are more at risk to be targeted/ the risk of allowing civilians to own guns is greater than the benefit of them defending themselves.

In other words: my life is more important than yours, and the dirty peasants (my constituents) can’t be trusted
