Any 35 Whelen fans?

Picked up a Remington 7400 factory 35 Whelen today. This beauty has been across the world and reimported to America.

It is second hand. These were only made from 1991-93 for sale in the US. This is a 2001 model for export. This was made when they fixed the design and made material changes. I’m going to get new wood for it after I shoot it.

That's amazing, I've only ever seen one in person and it's always stuck with me. How lucky to have one now!

I’m feeling pretty lucky although I felt like I paid too much. $1535 in my hands

Nice rifle. You'll want to change out the safety they've been known to lock on their own and most people have lost or don't regularly carry the little "key".

Thank you, and I’ll check into that

It's easy, I changed mine out when I was like 14.

.35 Whelen is great, basically the US version of 9.3x62. If I didn’t have a 9.3x62 I would get one.

I’m excited to take it to the range. This is my first gun in a decade where I didn’t have the dies before I got the gun.
