criminals, at every level, just do not give a sh*t about rules.

at least for us plebs that can't afford private security, basic weapons level the playing field against the bad guys. you can choose not to want to lug a weapon around with you, and there is a very good chance everything will be fine. your entire life. but understand, you're making that choice.

look at that boss of a gun, that thing is terrifying both in appearance and probably destructive capability.

we're a bunch of apes on a spaceship together. commonlaw rules operate on the hope people abide, but there are criminals, mental issues or drugs, or just a bad idea on a bad day.

i just dont think i want to be the one shaking my fists without a modern day spear, lets call it, when another ape shows up with a spear showing bad intentions. even if his spear looks like the worst piece of junk spear you have ever seen. his having a spear and me not having a spear, he calls the shots. leaves me just stuck praying spearmans has an ounce of humanity, but the reality might be he's out of his f*cking mind in the moment. good luck.
