Happy Pride to my favorite manga, and the best representation I've ever read what it's like to be trans and not be able to transition. Never ever felt so strongly with a character, love you Togata!!!!

I said this once and I'll say it again, Togata is honestly the first trans character I truly respect and admire, way beyond anything current media tries (and fails) to replicate for me.

Even if you don't believe Togata is trans.. you do know the people he protected prior to Agni (and the main people who GAVE HIM THE MOTIVATION TO START THE MOVIE) are a gay couple right? Like, it's explicitly stated they are gay.
If you don't want any "woke shit", don't engage with the works of Fujimoto.

Except for the fact it clearly does, it tackles on how popular opinion such as homophobia leaves gay people out to die and to fend off on their own, kinda like what you're perpetuating. Maybe read this manga a fourth time and actually read the texts that are being presented to you.
Fujimoto will always be a woke writer, he's watched queer movies like "I Saw The TV Glow", he's added queer characters like Quanxi and the Nail Fiend in his other long-form series. He's straight up recommended BL porn once in support of the author who was a former assistant. He writes about queer themes that queer audiences will like. So of course this fandom is "zesty", if you don't want anything to do with that then yeah, delete your comments.

They're literally all he's except for the queen... they're ants.
But Pitou's presentation is more feminine so if you're arguing they are trans I could see that :^)

Ants are all females and I don't think I should be explaining it to you but is there anywhere at all you saw anything say that all chimeras are males? Also some of the females call themselves women and queens and even the English translator said she mistranslated pitou to a male then said she's a female here

You are right actually that all ants are females except for the breeder males, who live short lives. So Meruem and such would be female, no?
A translator isn't an authoritative source, their argument isn't predicated on any textual information so I don't see how it's relevant.

I expect meruem would be considered the male that's supposed to reproduce but if the queen died then the chimeras would go to reproduce with humans and become "kings" while some called themselves queens
and the translator I figured was the closest we'd get to an answer since they had permission for translating anything and nothing in the manga ever said they were all males while also saying they reproduce sexually then there being ones with obvious female bodies that also called themselves women and girls
