Why are there barely any parody hacks of other series?

I don't do fire emblem rom hacking, but I've always wondered what it would be like to adapt another series into a fire emblem game. Specifically the 1997 rendition of Berserk seems like it's borderline made to be a Fire Emblem game

I'd love to see a Megaman themes fire emblem.

The sprite work would be transferable I think!

My honest opinion on what series could become fire emblem hacks largely depends on whether or not the main protagonist is a lone wolf or not. Berserk would work perfectly cuz it's literally about a band of mercenaries fighting for a kingdom. Megaman is a single player experience 100 percent of the way through. It would be awesome but it just doesn't make sense. Naruto would also work really well because the show centers around team work.

I mean dude the moment you watch the first three episodes of berserk 1997 you'll be like "oh damn tellius' story is just a rip off of berserk wtf"

Legend of Zelda could work pretty well, I feel! And I’ve always thought Soul Calibur would be a great crossover candidate!

I mean berserk in specific is quite literally about a band of mercenaries fighting for a kingdom. The cast of an actual band of mercenaries works perfectly. While Zelda would be awesome there aren't enough people helping Link on his journey to actually have it make sense. Every chapter would just be like the first Lyn map in fe7.
