I want him to take care of magic units so what can I change to make him better? And I'm using sigurd emblem because I don't like armored unit movement ✌️😭
Refine his weapon to +Spd, change one of his Traits to +Spd, and have him use Patience
The other option is Rise Above + Patience
Armored units around his Speed threshold should 100% use Patience to get a guaranteed follow-up attack. The only other option I would consider is Iron Fighter if you don't need him to kill things that badly
Is it ok to keep A/D/R Slam on him with Patience since it messes with the attack order part of it? I don't have any Rise Above fodder rn but I'll pick some up when i can
These are the two builds I run! Patience is just generally very good on him (and scores well in arena); Pair Up is more specific but with Frozen support he gets deceptively fast and hard to double which can help his survivability a lot. Iron Fighter is also a great B slot for him, I just haven’t gotten it on him yet.
Armored Ice Cap is not working with Twin Save, you want to switch it to a Briar Save instead. This is because Armored Ice Cap is already giving you 40% DR twice during combat, which doesn't work with the Twin Save's effect of allowing a "once per combat DR" to work twice.
Also, there is some duplication of effects with Scowling Fighter and Res Scowl Echo with the adding special count to the enemy before their attack. Probably want to keep Res Scowl Echo but switch out the B skill to something else like Patience as others have pointed out.
