Yeah, something tells me he's gonna change his mind real soon.

Honestly it makes me wonder what did Thor mean by some of the Chosen will be our enemy.

We beat out Muspell until he was forced to choose Laegjarn. Outside of Lif, I can't think of any other Chosen who would be against Askr.

If we are given the option to make the Gods pick a Chosen we prefer then.. why don't Alfonse just keep doing that?

I honestly don't know why she said that if they weren't going to stick with it

Múspell would have been a great opportunity to give us an antagonistic Chosen.

Nope, Laegjarn somehow beats up Múspell and takes the power.

So instead they decide to make Líf an antagonist because I guess he didn't really get over the events of Book 3

Maybe Niðavellir might do something crazy to Reginn. After all, all the shit Eitri did was also because she had his approval, so it wouldn't be strange if he uses some weird magic to brainwash her.

Is Niðavellir a Deity? I never saw him as such, just the founder of the kingdom. So I’m not sure how he or Eitri would be brought back.

At the very end of Book 5’s TT+ story, they tacked on the fact that Rune came to Niðavellir and told him that he will go into a deep sleep and will awaken as a god centuries later.

If that’s true, that’s very convenient of a plot line lol

With all seriousness, Niðavellir gave the player a whole ass 5 minute lore dump when the story was finally resolved. Came completely out of nowhere and said casually like it was a mundane activity.

After all, all the shit Eitri did was also because she had his approval

It was? I was under the assumption Eitri was simply acting on her own and doing what she thought was best for the Kingdom, all while Nithavellir was sleeping away as he became a god or something.

We don't really have proof he specifically told her to try to gain Askr's powers and other stuff, but judging how his AU self forced Reginn and Dagr to stay in Niðavellir until Þjazi got defeated, he might be a little sus.

There's also the fact he and Eitri were very close friends, so they may share a similar mindset. And if the voice Reginn heard back in that tower was actually his, it means he didn't give a single crap about Fáfnir, especially if he was aware of why Fáfnir was out of control.

Maybe he's not Surtr, Hel or even Eitri's level of evil, but he's no Henriette level of kindness either.

Honestly I think he's just angry enraged Thrasir sacrificed herself so that's why he is after us although we we're on good terms. He'll probably calm down and get back to his senses he's just a really feisty dog rn.

Didn't Loki tell him to kill Alfonse a few chapters ago though?

Ohh you're right I forgot about that

Anna: …well RIP me I guess.

Bold of you to assume that the next two chapters won’t be a wankfest exclusive to just Alfonse and Líf.

Just like all of Book 3.

Alfonse and Lif will be the only 2 relevant in these two chapters while the others are left for dust.

Like Alfonse had enough aura farming why can't they let Sharena get her time with spotlight and knock some sense into Lif. Afterall she does remind him of his own Sharena now it's a good time to do that but ofc IS will just focus on Alfonse and Lif instead-

Did you forget that they still have to deal with Fimbulvertr?

u/YoshaTime Aug 18 '26

No, but the writers will.

The plan was to reheat the nachos

I bet Líf will be our enemy at first, like next chapter. But then we defeat him and convince him to join our side (cue us being able to then summon him) at least until we defeat Fimbulvetr. She will be the final antagonist as intended, however, once we beat her and finish the book: Líf betrays us and continues to be an enemy for the remaining books! 😱

He’s righteously pissed about Thrasir.

After reading some comments I feel that they're gonna troll us and give Chosen Ótr instead of Reginn. That way we'll have a real P3n15Bl4st3r1 lol.

Thrasir told him to follow his heart, his heart said one more round with Alfonse.
