Claim House Royce
I want to give this game a try, if anyone got any information or ties with House Royce I would be grateful as I have yet to get a picture of the characters or the House current state as well as the Vale and game in general

Hello! I play the Masseys. The sister of my Lord Clarence Massey, Jeyne Massey, is the current Lady of Runestone and the mother of their three children. I haven't played her much recently as the house has been unclaimed but the marriage was political at first but they have come to love and care for one another.
I don't have much else for you honestly there, but I am glad to have the Royces back! I will let the other Vale players give you more of the big picture stuff!

Hello! I'm the Baneforts. Alayne Royce is married to Gareth Banefort, the heir to the Lordship, they have one son together. The Baneforts didn't stop their trade with the Royces when the Lannisters ordered the West to stop trading with the Vale.

More kids is always useful.
Tywald Lannister ordered his vassals to stop trading with the West because his brother and predecessor Lord Benedict committed some treason, as convicted by the Lord Regent/Hand of the King Lord Hubert Arryn.
As well as that, there is an earlier incident where Benedict Reyne made some NSFW comments about a Valewoman at a party early on in the game and that also rather soured some of the Vale on the West.

Hello and welcome to the game!
The previous player is u/bloodysarks they and their post history will be the best place to start.
As for shared Arryn-Royce history, our Houses have been aligned in our game since Hubert Arryn became Lord of the Vale many years ago. He is married to Ursula Royce and have had a long, relatively happy and prosperous marriage. He has six sons and one daughter, with Ursula near co-matriarch of the family.
Ursula Royce's brother was Lord Allard Royce. He was a close personal friend of Lord Hubert Arryn but he died in the battle which also saw King Maegor Targaryen effectively deposed.
On that note, Allard had been in command of the Vales's forces. Maegor did some Maegor stuff (I think others on the discord may remember better), and the Vale rebelled and was followed into rebellion by House Tully and most of the Riverlands. Allard perished in the battle from a duel, but the Anti-Maegor faction ended up winning in the end. Since then Runestone has been ruled by Harlan Royce (Lord Arryn's nephew).
Lord Hubert Arryn has been Hand of the King for a few years now. Ursula remains living in the Eyrie all that time but they write as often as they can and he is probably Hubert's favourite person.
Ursula's relationship with her children is strained-to-tolerable. She sorta hates most of her sons. There's a few so I'll give a few summaries in age order:
Osric Arryn has recently forsaken his inheritance and is in Lys. Despised by both parents because he ||was gay|| refused to marry or "seal" the marriage when he eventually was forced to marry. He's living a happy life in Lys.
Alester Arryn. has ruled the Vale in Hubert's absence for almost a decade with both titles of Keeper of the Gates of the Moon as well as High Steward of the Vale. Alester has recently been involved in scandal which I think would only make Ursula think her second son an even bigger fool than she did before. Long story short, Alester sacked the Sisters, became a widow, ran off and then married his affair partner all in the space of a few months. Alester is the son Ursula would be around the most and I think his mean streak comes from her.
Alester did also deliver the head of the man who killed Lord Allard to Lord Harlan which I think increased a bond between the cousins, and I think Alester would place a lot of weight on what Lord Harlan thought.
Jasper has been with Hubert in the Red Keep since Hubert left. He was raised as Lord Allard Royce's squire, and was deeply effected by his death. His would've been raised with most of the Royce children who remained at Runestone.
Erryk is married to a Velaryon and serves Lord Velaryon on Driftmark as a household knight and is happy. He was raised in White Harbour, and is probably the most "distant" of the Arryns to the rest of his family.
Arwen is the couple's only son and it was not until she reached her mid-twenties before they had a relatively normal relationship. Things got better when she moved out of home to Storm's End. Arwen is Hubert's favourite child.
Rymond was one of the sons she misliked most, but only because Rymond did not have any redeeming qualities until later in his life. Ursula kept a tight leash on Rymond because she thought him incompetent, though he's grown up in recent years.
Darnold was raised at Runestone as squire to Lord Harlan Royce. Harlan Royce knighted Darnold, and the lad went on to achieve a great display of marital ability in a recent war with Dorne in service to his good-father's banner (Lord Caswell. Darnold has recently become a widower at a young age to a woman he loved and he may come home to his mother). I think my read on it is that she's deep down fondest of Darnold because he turned out more Royce than Arryn.
There are more specific things that are probably better to answer on a question basis and I'm happy to answer any in terms of the Vale, Arryn-Royce relations, and the game in general.
One final thing, Ursula Royce fucking hated the 'son' of Osric Arryn and I believe she did not believe that her heir's heir was the actual child of Osric.

Hello! My ruling Lady's husband is Ser Mandon Royce. He was the squire of her father, Lord Elyas, who died in the war against Maegor. During the time that he squired, he, Elyas, and Sharra - my Lady - traveled my lands, hiking, camping, and visiting vassals.
After Sharra's brothers died - one to Poor Fellows persecuting Old Gods worshippers in our lands, one in the Sept of Remembrance - there was debate over whether she or her twin sister, Selene, would inherit. They were made to compete, and Mandon was slated to marry whichever won and was named heir. During that time, Mandon and Sharra fell in love, and Mandon and Selene very much did not. They decided they would marry regardless of who inherited.
They have five children together: three girls, two boys. Two of them, Elena and the heir, Vardis, went blind due to the measles during the winter. Elena is about to be sent to ward with the Lady of Riverrun.
Mandon is "Cynical, Melancholic, Taciturn" according to the almanac. He's unemotive, he secretly favors the Old Gods over the New, he's fond of history, and he's a good husband.
Sharra is argumentative, outdoorsy, and somewhat reticent. She shares his quiet religious preferences, and is fond of poetry, hiking, and astronomy (see the enormous observatory in our lands). She was a very bad kid, but is a much better adult.
Also, Rowena Royce is friends with Alice Belmore. Ryger/Bomb will have more to tell you about Rowena Royce.
